Polygon making me money
|
Not believing Elon didn't know of the "environment impact" when he invested in BTC to start with.
|
Anyone nervous yet? Buying these dips? As much as I love ETH and the prospect of some of these less popular altcoins, I can't see myself buying anything other than Bitcoin anytime soon. If it drops to the 30's I'm going to sell off some stock and go in balls deep.

Yep, thinking of selling it all- tired of this downward spiral. The media is pumping out bad news and Crypto can't get any traction. |

I toll you guys. I toll you.
You aint seen nothing yet. We're gonna get into the 20s boys. |

"If you've invested money you can afford to lose you can decide what risk works best for you. Personally missing out on gains pains me more than seeing my potential gains disappear, so I'm only taking profits when I hit what for me would be life-changing money. If you have some serious plans to invest in bitcoin you should keep in find these few things Don’t invest in a coin unless you understand it inside out. Don’t trade in front of big news events – it’s impossible to predict how markets will react. Always use a crypto bot to stay away from trading stress. Don’t invest in a coin unless you understand it inside out. You can make money trading the momentum and hype in bitcoin, just don’t invest long-term. Good luck.

I’ve lost enough money to pay my car loan off in the past 48 hours. Best to just stick it out at this point.

It's a dumpster fire

What the interesting thing will be is what BTC and ETH stabilize at. It will be low. But the last time BTC stabilized before this pump it was like 9 to 10k. Crypto follows bitcoin. When bitcoin is doing well. Invest in alts. As soon as you see BTC tipping and scaling back, get the **** out immediately if you are a trader. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the true kings. Watching these alts wither away has been great to see. I was worried BTC would just plummet but alot of alts wouldn't follow suit, but that hasn't occurred so long term we may still be alright. Nonetheless I sold 30% of my crypto after not selling any for like 7 years. That should tell you something |

So this might explain the recent run up in precious metals, as crypto taking hits.
Firmly believe that a position in metals is prudent. Not ETFS, COMEX is a Ponzi scheme. If you don’t physically hold your non Fiat wealth.....you should know better. I’ve made my money, just want to keep as much as I can. I think our, and the global monetary policy is ripe for a shake up. Fiat is no more safe than crypto IMO. |

China made a form of the Yuan a digital currency. Good thing Joe Biden is president.... **** me. Good job reeruns! Now go get Israel for getting rockets launched at them!
|
I don’t think of my BTC in dollar value. I’m not selling it and paying capital gains taxes. I’m holding it since it’s never going away and just going to be the future. You can increase those BTC decimals faster when the dollar value is down. I’ll increase the frequency of my recurring purchases during these types of “40% off sales.”

BTW, Musk knows what he’s doing. He’s keeping the price down so he can accumulate more.

It's getting tough to keep up with all the bullshit.
It looks like it dipped below 32K today. Charting a typical support guess with a Musk and Commie factor seems impossible. If they drive this into the 25-27k range I might do something stupid. |

Glad I sold all my crypto the other day. I'll just sit on cash until it looks like it will rebound. It was only a few thousand anyway.

Going to wait a couple days and see if it starts to consolidate and hold where it's at. If so... time to buy and prepare for a possible bull run

I think Polkadot and Kusama are good buys right now. Their parachains are just starting up.
|
hey, how do you keep track of your basis?
Without updating my excel spreadsheet, it's getting harder and harder to determine my average acquisition price. Bought a lot of ADA during the past 48 at different prices as it kept dropping and now need to compute average purchase price combining with prior holding. |

Every Portfolio Should Have 6% Bitcoin: Yale Study
Even those who are strong bitcoin skeptics should maintain at least 4% BTC allocation, said the study. The study indicates that even the staunchest opponents of the cryptocurrency world are best off investing 1% of their assets in this space, if only for diversification purposes. https://www.investopedia.com/news/ev...in-yale-study/ |

Does anyone know of a crypto calculator that figures up your average buy-in or break even price? Say I made 5 different purchases, all different amounts and all when Bitcoin was at different prices. For example:
1000 when it was at 52k 500 when it was at 48k 1000 when it was at 45k 3500 when it was at 38k My brain is starting to hurt trying to figure out the best formula to calculate this and for some reason I cant find a calculator that will do it for me. |

If you can't figure this shit out, you should let someone else manage your money. |

I'm sure you are an Adonis, so my apologies for that one and my overall point is don't make fun of reeruns. You know better. |

I have no debt; everything is paid for; I live comfortably--as long as the person managing my money keeps making money rather than losing it, why should I change things? Can I do it? Sure. Do I want to? Nope. Too many other things in life to focus on rather than money. If someone doesn't have a basic skill in an area, it probably in their best interest to have someone with more knowledge about that subject do the task for you. I'm not good at fixing cars. Because I'm not good at fixing cars, I let someone else do maintenance on my car. I never called anyone the R-word. I never called anyone stupid. Those are *your* words. You just took offense and jumped to conclusions. I assume you think I'm fat because of my user name? Do you also think I have sideburns and wear jumpsuits? |
Wat up my ****as
|
I think I'm doing very well managing my own money, I proved it earlier in this thread. You dont need to remember averaging cost formulas off the top of your head to be good with money.
