Sounds like a great way to get a heat stroke.

Exactly, I'd rather try to out run them than be stuck in a car surrounded. Zombies aren't the type to move on when they get bored if they know there are live humans in the car.

They had to of been exhausted from running to climb into that trunk with no other means of escape.

ThaVirus 03-03-2014 11:59 AM

Yeah, the trunk of a car would be an extreme last resort measure for me.

Sure-Oz 03-03-2014 01:03 PM

Not a fan of the car trunk, but they were desperate. The episode was good enough for me, not something i'd like to see every week but it worked. Next week looks like a collision of stuff going on, interested to see if Rick party will be show as will Glenns party at all or will it be another seperate episode

Daryl reminded me of Kenny ****ing Powers when he was going off on a tangent in the house.

My son wants me to watch this show with him. I've seen 3 or 4 episodes. Just can't get into it. 2 words for this show; SLOW and BORING.

Brock 03-03-2014 06:23 PM

Maybe there's a medication you can give him for that.

I disagree. I think we learned how much Beth and Darryl need each other; Darryl keeps their bodies alive, but I think Beth is keeping Darryl headed toward finding the/a group. You can see from the episode that Darryl had gone into full-on survival mode. Beth was keeping them moving, keeping them looking. Without her, I think Darryl would live out the rest of his life as a loner in the woods.

Also, I think you learned that Darryl puts what happened at the prison squarely on his own shoulders. His breakdown was a good scene and showed his grief and guilt.

And finally, I think you saw a little development with Beth, how she handles the grief, but how she really is a survivor.

Just my 2 cents, but it certainly wasn't a wasted episode, IMO.

Perfectly stated.

Well. With zombies being attracted to light and noise. A raging fire would be like a bug light. Or zombie light. No batteries required.

Valiant 03-03-2014 06:37 PM

Only thing missing from the episode was a drunk hook up. Beth is what 18 or 19 in the show and like 27 in real life? We needed some skin.

her and Darryl meeting back up with Maggie nd Carol five months pregnant would be an interesting scenario.

Well, it is a drama/thriller not action show.

I would have done it a long time ago.

I want to see winter Zombies. Have not seen that yet.

On the after show when the idea of a hookup was brought up both were very coy about it. In fact Reedus pointed at Kinney and said something like, “this one is all her.”
