And I legitimately think they are going to be in the E8 (they are a #2 seed quality at a #11 seed). Hope we're there to play them.

Oh man, he does that almost every time.

Sagarin point spread for UCONN: -7.5 (season), -10 (recent games)

Yeah. They were nasty tonight. Arizona looked out of sorts but more importantly, they looked SLOW. I'm pretty sure it's just because Wichita State was playing that much faster. I'm probably most impressed with their inside guys. They haven't done ****all anytime I've watched WSU but thy dominated some solid big men tonight.

That being said, WSU looked like dog balls in the first half of their play in game. If they rolled out that first half against Zona we would be having a different conversation. WSU was playing some really bad basketball for 20 minutes, probably 28 or 30 minutes.

I had to say at the end of the game when the announcers were talking about all the talent that Zona lost, I smiled to myself and was reminded how lucky we are to have Bill Mother****ing Self.

I'm glad that rat Tarzewski ended his career tonight with a spectacular flameout first round. Rat took 7 visits to KU and committed to AZ first visit. Like a girl you work on for a year and find out she got a one night stand from a dirt rat.

And by dirty rat, a dirty sweaty rat coach:

Yeah. That dude needs to see a doctor.

I'm with you on Tarzewski. I remember watching him his freshman year and being so damn jealous. There was no way he didn't develop into a ****ing monster. He was big, strong, used his body well, and moved well. With that frame he was going to be dominant. And I'm not sure he hasn't gone backwards. Dumb bastard ****ed up. Hard. Look at what Self turned Landon ****ing Lucas into ( not a dig in Lucas, I'm a pretty big Lucas homer). Self would have made Tarzewski a ****img mountain of money in the draft.

No biggie....KU gets Udoka Azubuike and possibly Thon Maker

If that happened KU would be pretty damn good next yr.

KU should be preseason #1 next year. All we lose is Ellis.

I'd be shocked if this were the case.

He's a senior. 0% chance he takes the court as a jayhawk.

Lol I know this. But I can't imagine him being the only one that won't be with the team next year. I know all KU fans want Diallo to stay, but it becomes unpredictable when large amounts of money is involved. Someone is always in these guys' ears telling them to leave, whether it be family, friends, whoever. Transfers happen too. Again, I'd be shocked it Ellis is the only play not returning not year.

Ellis, Traylor, Mickelson. I know Hunter wasn't getting many minutes late in the season but he was a contributor. As much as I used to complain about Traylor and his boneheadedness, he has been playing well the last month or two.

As for underclassmen, Selden, Diallo, Bragg are all possibilities. And some even mention Graham. The only 2 that are think are somewhat likely to leave are Selden and Diallo. If I had to bet, I would say either 1 or zero leave. Then again, if we win the whole damn thing then all bets are off.
