I didn't see any of it due to one of the biggest brain farts in the history of ever, so I can't bitch about anything and I'm just going to assume we were outplayed by the better team.
Had tickets seven rows up and was 100% sure that the game started at 6pm and never even took them out of the envelope....tuned in to listen to pregame on the way up there and it was already well underway so we said to hell with it and went to dinner with the Mrs.

I'm ALWAYS a 'Cats fan (other than the Kentucky ones....them, notsomuch). I pull for KU though. anytime they aren't playing KSU. I refuse to get into the rivalry BS whether it's basketball, football, or golf.

It's different for me though, I grew up in KS, but my degree didn't come from either one, I got it whilst in the military. I actually grew up pulling for KU, but when my daughter got a full ride scholly from KSU, I switched allegiances.

If my kid gets a full ride scholly to KSU... I'm still rooting for KU and I'll laugh at my kid every time KU beats their ass. :evil:

Funny thing is we go back 35 years. His sister is an EMT and was working out at the Y when I collapsed on the verge of a heart attack when I was 25 (scary shit). I just thought he could handle a little good natured ribbing, and he kind of surprised me.

Possible games vs UNC and Michigan... I like it. And the last couple of times Georgetown was in KU's region, everyone picked Georgetown, but they never made it that far.... kind of expect the same if Kansas can survive.

Yep, I think there will be a fair amount of upset talk, which I always enjoy, and if the favorites (plus VCU) make it, motivation and effort shouldn't be lacking.

I'll have to think about tickets.... face value is ~$200/ticket, which is fine for two good games... but good god, Wisconsin? :deevee: Maybe Ole Miss will win and we'll get to see that edgy guy everyone is talking about.
