Do I approach it that way? No.

Can I understand why someone who has been subjected to numerous indignities might approach it that way? Maybe. I'm not necessarily condoning it but I do think it's hypocritical for those on the right to complain about something that they also practiced, and with quite a bit of fervor.

I can also understand how many conservatives feel now that the tide has turned. Been there, done that. I'm only saying that they ought to suck it up. A lot of them have. I've been impressed with a lot of those who have made concessions. Ironically, they are not the ones who want to quit. You didn't see the libs wanting to shut down the DC forum when they were getting their azzes handed to them every day for the last three years.

Well duh, did you notice how much ass our team sucked last year? Figure in that it was an election year and what do you have? Exactly what we had. I predict that should our team tank again this year, participation in the forum will increase.

I guess I really have a hard time with the run and hide conspiracy due to the fact that I see nothing to run and hide from. Just because you have bought into all the minutia does not make it any more correct. I stand by my previous stances on the various issues just as strongly as I ever have.
