Moose is well on his way to a .400 season, he just needs to find his groove.

I didn't say he couldn't pitch, I'm just saying he's not a good hitting coach. so until these ass-clowns have their annual revelation that the sprint league ISN'T the regular season, he's not going to get wins.

These ****s leave Surprise each year thinking they're awesome, and can hit very well when the pitchers really start trying. Then they get to deal with pitchers giving it their all. It takes 5 games for your SS to get his first hit, but the manager is worried about "his done" and lets him slide instead of think about it for a few weeks in Triple-A. Nope, keep him hear and ****-over another great start.

I'm not taking anything away from Sale, he had a great outing, but wow, JS needs to learn how to be a batting coach to help himself...

What are you talking about? He has a 2.70 ERA in two starts this year, and he had a 3.00 ERA in April last year.

I was thinking the same thing. Not much he can do about lack of run support. Just hard luck......at least at the beginning of the year, hes going to be going up against other teams aces.

Not his problem the Royals cant hit.

Sale is a beast. No shame in getting beat today.

Mother****erJones 04-06-2014 06:22 PM

Shields is your ace. He's fine. So e guys just have tough run support. Sale and Quintana are like that for us. Quintana had 17 NDs last year and 1 already this year.

He reminds me of a young Randy Johnson. Just his skinny, lanky frame and his delivery.

Sale doesn't throw as hard as Johnson, but he has this Rich Rushell type of windup that is all ****ed up. Deceptive, good ass stuff, decent head, He is good.

He needs to be held out until he can get some run support.

That was my point.

Then again, since this is his last year, perhaps we ride his arm like a porn queens private parts.

He was indeed impressive... And I thought that same thing about him being like RJ...

We can't be expected to score off Sale or Scherzer. They give up zero runs to all opponents.

Not really... Just pissed that this team always goes from a great spring league performance to flat bats...

I'd really rather have the Royals get the **** into some domes and have these ****ers try "scared" for a change. Either that, or put the pitcher in to hit every once in a while - just to let the others know they suck balls!

Yep, the 9th inning was disappointing, but he just straight-up beat us today.
