I know Jerry will read this post:
Jerry, you have many holes to fill, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Please save your picks and don't deal for Earl. Your friend, NWO |

It really doesn’t sound like ET is going to resign with anybody but the cowboys at this point. If we gave up a 2019 second, and eventually get that 2020 3rd round comp pick then I could definitely get behind it. It’s worth the risk of him probably leaving if it does bring us that super bowl
|
Even if Eric Berry returns, he’s gonna lose some range. It would be smart to put him back at box safety and find someone with range and ball skills like ET for FS.
That would be phenomenal. |
Some guys bounce back to 100% after tearing their Achilles...Derrick Johnson was aight after tearing his, Terrell Suggs was still dominating fools.... I hope Berry makes a recovery like they did.

Trading for Earl Thomas means we would be either giving up draft picks for a one year rental, or planning on signing a safety entering his 30's to another record-setting contract. Neither one of these are good moves.
Its hilarious how people who've waited their entire lives for a franchise QB now want to trade everything away in his first year starting to go "all in." Its really misguided. This isn't basketball, the best team doesn't usually win, there's a ton of randomness in the NFL. You win by building for long term success and by giving yourself as many rolls at the dice as possible. |
