They’re trying to prepare for the narrative that they won because mahomes was hurt. Already looking past us and trying to play the sob story that they’re disrespected. So that’s gonna cut extra deep when they lose to mahomes even not at 100%.

I’m usually pessimistic as hell but man I have such an oddly good feeling about this game…I think we’re gonna see the best version of the Chiefs Sunday that we’ve seen all year.

The smack talk from the Bengals, the premature crowning of their asses, the Chiefs as underdogs, REVENGE…all of it is just lining up.

I totally get it, but the only thing keeping me from feeling this way is the Mahomes injury.

I know the reports have been positive, but a HAS is a HAS.

They can try to spin it however they want. MRI confirmed a high ankle sprain. Nobody is 100% healthy in a week from that injury. Maybe 4 weeks of proper rest and treatment. Would be hilarious if he lights up their defense even with the injury slowing him down.

My ****ing mom has never talked to me about football before and she just asked if I watched the snow game and if I was afraid of the Bengals.

This is akin to the late 1920s when the shoe shine boy was giving stock tips right before the market crashed and the Great Depression began.

Nothing will be sweeter than taking these ****ers out at their alleged apex. Even if we lose it’s worth it to have a shot at this narrative.

The injury is a built-in excuse so it takes some of the edge off.

You know that you can feel better about a loss because Mahomes’ wasn’t 100%.
