I have 26 players on my roster with 15 picks left.

I just let you and Pestilence think you were doing the most deals and I worked behind the scenes.

Yeah, does this include rookie picks? Or do you really have 41 veteran picks in a 33 round draft?

If so... yes, you've flown under the radar.

Just included veteran picks. You can add the one rookie pick, a second rounder to it to make 42 picks.

Interesting... maybe you did a few trades during the week I was out. I knew you had been active, but didn't realize you were up there with the Pest and I.

Nice looking team... Chris Henry does nothing for me, but I like the rest. Sims is greatness at LB.

I cheated? I didn't do any deal like that at all...

The only deals I have done for players is the deal with you for Colston and the deal with Darosa88 for Jason Peters and Leodis McKelvin. In that deal I gave up Luis Castillo and picks though

Not a fan of Henry,huh?

I'm torn on him, but the upside is definitely there if he can ever put it all together, and as a third receiver he was worth the risk.

Huge talent, 23 years old, and now doesn't have Housh catching nearly every pass. Plus with Palmer back, he could put up big numbers. He's been working with him individually all summer...

That's the thing - huge upside, but he's burned me too many times in fantasy football... never again.

I dunno man, you need a backup QB to help out at QB, but he has nice upside... RB and WR, both positions are looking good. Your team doesn't suck at all... you have a lot of options.

Stacey Andrews, RT

Jerrod Mayo MLB
Kamerion Wimbley, OLB

You gotta have some experienced leaders. Kurt knows every nuance of his receivers' routes and moves. We're a machine, baby. A machine!

I think we all agree... run with it! Ask any questions you have on the forum...

The team is just how I posted below. I'll let Rainman address the "remainder round" and "rookie draft", but you can trade anything ... players, veteran picks, remainder and rookie picks.

I think three of us have made a combined 45 trades so far, and you may think I'm kidding, but ... it's been wild.

You have a pick in Round 19 and Round 20... feel free to make them whenever you like. Get your arms around what you have and what you need to do.

If any one has a spreadsheet of players still available (with positions would be great) I'd love to have it. Otherwise I'm going to have to build one myself by going through the whole freaking thread. You can sort it alphabetically to obscure any insider information (i.e. your draft board).

I'll make my picks as soon as I can figure out which end is up, but don't wait for me.

cdcox 07-16-2009 01:35 PM

I don't have one...

But, if you look at post #2799 and prior, Bowser did a recap by position through R19 of the players that have been drafted. I think there were a half dozen or so posts.

Also, click the "spoiler" button in the main thread title and you can see the historical rounds. This is a very manual and painful process at times... similar to Clayton's time alone with the flashlight and National Geographic.

I ended up wih Tony Ugoh, Ken Hamlin and Luis Castillo out of that trade though.

Peters is overated, he gave up something like 11 sacks and was voted to the pro bowl. I hate him.

And yes I'll take a pro bowl FS and quality 3-4 DE for a CB that had a good rookie year...

So I win :D :thumb:

I've had to make a lot of deals to get players I wanted/needed for my scheme, because I inherited this team with some bad picks...

I feel if I would have been here in the beginning I'd have the best team for sure ... ;)

So while I may have less players than most teams right now.. I have quality, and that's what counts...

To me it looks as if doomy and pestilence has the 2 best teams, with 3B as a close 3rd.

You have obviously lost your mind. QBs are solid, WRs, RBs and TE are top notch... the OL is greatness. Defensively, my secondary is phenomenal, LBs are stellar and the DL is off the hook. No bias obviously, just pure cold blooded fact, baby.

Not bad, but you need to get younger at WR... I like Avery and Breaston, but they need to step it up and Ward is old... good, but old. I like the secondary.

qb's are weak, wr's are good, but getting old, rb's are solid, te great receiver, below-average blocker (I know, I'm a Bears fan), Oline not even finished...

Honestly, most teams are in pretty good shape... it's hard to tell how they all look "side by side" in this thing though. Maybe we need another thread TIED to this thread for posting full rosters. I dunno.

I do agree that QB is my weaker spot, but if healthy... Schaub is a beast. And, that's always the concern with him. Other than that, I'm loving the options.

There are several sweet looking teams.

I'm still not liking the Favre pick. You could have waited so much longer to get him. Instead you ended up passing on some quality younger QBs.

But I have cassel I think he is gonna b good I'm still thinking of getting a young back up 3rd string. But I understand the skepticism right now. Still a lot to go I like your team pest but when all is said and done my team will be at the same caliber.

Your linebackers are rock solid, and the secondary is good to very good. The rest just kind of makes me go "meh". You need lots of depth at RB, and your receivers are average at best. And you best get going on that d-line!

Maybe this is going to be brought out later, I don't know... but, I think it would be great to have a ROSTER THREAD where we post our updated rosters and give some insight into what we were thinking when building the team.

I know there are a number of different philosophies... I took this team over in Round 4 or so and have moved at least one player (Cassel) that was drafted by the previous owner. That was just too high for that QB in my opinion.

Anyway, I don't know if anyone is regarding their thoughts or rational as "sacred" until after the draft, but I don't care to mention what my thought process has been throughout the draft. It's not like anyone can really derail another person's draft at this point.
