Mitch is the only announcer that I enjoy watching announce a game as much as I enjoy listening to him.

Man, I used to love Mitch, and he is still better than most, but he is hard to listen to sometimes. He is a ridiculous homer, and I had to listen to him praise Moore several times this year. He knows football. He knows Moore isn't good, so his homerism of Moore comes off as the company line, and I kinda lose respect for him every time he praises someone like Moore.

Also, I am so sick of the Nectar shit. It sounds childish, ridiculous, and is embarrassing.

If we have any hope of going deep into the playoffs this year we need to find a way to build on the very limited success the offense actually had this game. Our red zone offense was embarrassing and their single touchdown was pathetic. Thankfully the Buttkicker was clutch as usual. Having said all that we did show flashes of our former selves between the 20s.

Not just between the 20s. When Dave Toub delivered a Dave Toub special and our punt returner fielded a punt in the end zone, the offense stepped up to overcome. Everything about it seemed like old times.

The way I see it is if we can get to 24 or 27 points in the playoffs I think that's enough for this D. I think Playoff Patrick and Andy will be good for that. I also think they'll unleash Rice in a more traditional WR role as well.

I just hate hearing him say shit like player X is gargling the sweet nectar of the end zone. It sounds ridiculous to say a player is gargling anything other than mouthwash, and that's not something that should ever be said on the radio anyway.

I don't know why it bothers me so much, but it sounds so unprofessional to me.
