You've said this a few times now and I'm still not sure how it makes any sense. Are you suggesting I didn't attend KU?

At least that Barry guy sticks with his shtick. Either it's a shtick or he's trying to do some low key trolling.

It's like the movie "23" and everything keeps coming back as LeBron.

Jordan Poole traded+Udonis Haslem retiring+Chris Paul being a sixth man = LeBron's 5th Championship.

Free agency starts tomorrow. Should be interesting.

Dame is the domino that needs to fall at least from what I've gathered. Also, new CBA is about to wreak havoc on cap folks around the league.

staylor26 06-29-2023 09:25 PM

LMAO

Great name change.

It's courtesy of mod abuse by DaFace. Granted, can't say I'm too hung up on it. Pretty ****ing funny.

So where is James Harden gonna end up next year? Maybe the better question is, does anyone care at this point?

Seems like it'll be the Clippers.

I am not going to be shocked when he gets a large contract because there is stupid teams out there but I wouldn't do it

Not sure if this improves them or not. He is old and oft injured but they have had enough of Poole pouting and wanted to get out of that terrible contract.

IIRC CP3 played more games in the playoffs than Poole did. ****. I bet I’m thinking of Herro. But he was injured this year, no?

BTW, I don't like the Marcus Smart deal either for Boston. They just made an already soft team exponentially softer.

I can’t remember what podcast it was but there were some really interesting statistics about Smarts usage at the end of halves or shot clocks or something. Ultimately the conclusion was is Smart thinks he’s the ****ing dude. He’s not. The metrics bear that out. He’s a good player that has a lot of value but he’s not THE dude on a team with Tatum and Brown. They need a player that will make opportunities for Tatum and Brown instead of putting on the cape.

It was a really interesting segment that was very telling.

That's one way of looking at it, but the fact that Smart often took those shots/more shots than he should (and he did take a lot of stupid shots) also may reflect the inherent lack of leadership of Tatum/Brown.

I also think it could be argued Smart's intangibles mattered far more to that team than anything he was actually doing on the court. I'd be worried about where that is going to come from now on a team that already was struggling in that regard. That team was soft as hell as it was.
