And there is no evidence that Buffalo asked for a neutral field. The anger against Buffalo is without reason, until someone can show some sort of proof that they asked for any of it.

I apologize for people like that, dude. It’s clearly just a major overcorrection/backlash after people were expected to show a modicum of empathy toward the Bills. Very clear that many were triggered and thus here we are.

You said the Bills didn’t want to play against the Patriots and were bitching about it. I said there was nothing to prove that they didn’t want to play the Patriots. You and others cited Mike Reiss, a Pats reporter. I showed you that he also said he was just speculating and had no information and made you look like a fool.

I never for a second said or thought that the Bills wanted to play the game in the 2-3 days after and never had any strong opinion on anything they did or didn’t want to do after this weekend as it relates to the Bengals game.

Next, I’m well aware that other playoff games have gone into OT and been decided like that. You - as per normal - completely missed the point. You asked why the owners decided to approve it then and not before and one of my speculations was that it had happened again in a short period of time in truly marquee games and that the Bills/Chiefs was widely recognized as maybe the greatest game of all-time yet it ended like that.

If you played “gotcha” with facts, then we could certainly have normal debates and conversations. But somehow a “blue check” journalist throwing something vague out there with nothing other than idle speculation counts as fact-checking for you.

And that’s why you’re a ****ing moron.

No, I said "sounds like they might not want to". Huge difference. And it wasn't the point. The point was about them not wanting to play the game they clearly refused to resume. Only reason I brought up the Pats game is because I was saying if that's even a question, they obviously didn't want to resume the Bengals game.

Just like DJ pointed out, you need 200% confirmation of everything because you're incapable of reading between lines.

I liked the Vegas idea as well, but a few minutes ago on Chiefs radio program the field reporters said it was in rough shape like Arizona Cardinals bad.

Interesting thing is UNLV apparently plays games in the Raiders' stadium with artificial turf. Maybe they could switch out the Raiders' grass turf and put in UNLV's fake turf for this potential neutral site playoff game.

I guess when people get called out for making up shit based on incomplete information while wanting to put it in their angry box, they should just say I'm reading between the lines.

ROFL You are embarrassingly pathetic.

Nobody made anything up.

I said it "sounds like they might not even want to play the Pats game". I was acknowledging that we didn't know for sure.

However, anybody pretending that we still don't know whether the Bills wanted to resume the OTHER game, you know the one that all the fuss I about, obviously can't read between the lines. Or they're playing stupid and refusing not to.

C'mon guys. You're both gonna agree about a ton of Chiefs stuff as the playoffs are in session and into the offseason and beyond. Let's all be friends!

In fairness, Twisted flamed away first... at least I believe reading the thread. I think we are all a little uptight and need a come together Chiefs beatdown of the Raiders today to bring unity...

If you want to tell me it’s late in the third and it’s a 3 score game, I would then definitely entertain it. But 7-3 in the first? OMG.

I’m honestly glad I don’t live my life as cynically as many of you apparently do.

Let's try this again as I type slower... If they were leading 21-3 against the Bengals Monday, early in the 2nd quarter, or if they were playing someone like the Cardinals and were down 7-3 early in the second quarter, do you think they make every effort to resume the game on Tuesday or Wednesday night after Damar was stabilized, improving and high probability of a positive outcome, or do they not play and give up control of the #1 seed?

Don't apologize to that turd. Embarrassing....

Cincy was going to beat Buffalo and if that causes asshurt for some...so be it

Surely though you can understand how Chiefs fans are saying WTF when teams are not supportive of us when we get screwed and then when we benefit everything changes.

Yes I am aware that the argument will be that the Bills game broke the camels back. But did it? After the Bills game so many in the media, and fans alike, were feeling so sorry for the Bills.

Yet when the Chiefs lost to the Patriots I don't remember much sympathy at all. That game was also an amazing game, perhaps an all-timer itself. Do you disagree that the sympathy for KC was equal to Buffalos? I stuck my head in the sand after that game so it's possible I missed it. This is why I feel like it's reasonable to allow Chiefs fans to be pretty damn bitter about the entire situation.

And again, there was a playoff game in between that nobody gave a **** about either. Then all of a sudden everybody in the media and fans are crying about the rules as if they just learned of them? Bull****ingshit.
