Notable reactions from the docu
Conleith chucking his script when his last line is finished. Kit's shock when he finds out his role in the endgame. Nutter is a weird cat, and I figured out what was nagging me about his posture and gait. He's like a full-grown Warwick Davis. Millions per episode budgeted and people have to pay cash for their ****ing snacks. Bush league. I also find it rather telling that there is still no true Episode 6 recap with Benioff and Weiss breaking down why they did what, or the actors discussing their thoughts on the episode. The documentary kind of reminded me of an old episode of Star Trek Next Generation called "Lower Decks," which was centered on the lives of four junior officers, and basically showed the main cast from a distance. I assume that they started to make one, but D&D shot down airing it. It likely would have featured the principal actors, no longer obligated to play nice, bitching about how things ended, and any defense the showrunners offered would have just stoked the fires of the internet rage which at this point has taken on a life of its own. In other words, a complete no win situation for them. It's over, they're done, and we can all kiss their asses if we don't like it. That's my takeaway. |
Conleith has been public with his displeasure of the way his character was handled the last few seasons.
$100 million for 6 episodes and you make people pay for snacks? WTF? How does some asshole decide that? |

Most of you know that George RR Martin and HBO we’re exploring 4 different spin offs from GOT. Looks like bloodmoon is the only one that’s going to make it to actually production.
One of those was Bryan Godman and George RR Martin working on the Arya explores what’s West of Westeros. It’s dead. George RR Martin says he doesn’t have time. Maybe after he finishes the GOT books. Godman has moved on to producing and writing Amazon’s LOTR series. |
Don’t they have a spin-off starting production in June? Based on events 1,000 years earlier?

That Cogman prequel cancellation "news" happened a month ago. As far as I know there are still three spinoffs in development, Bloodmoon and two that are in the script stage. I read an article in Hollywood Reporter talking about all three of them last week.

Bloodmoon will take a few years to keep things going before they make a movie or bring back GoT IMO.

Also Ballers, its cheesy as hell but its sports, money and boobs. |
Never even heard of Succession. That's what happens when they don't have Game of Thrones on for two years. I miss everything that happens in between.
