Hey, you guys remember when we could count on an invasion of overconfident Bills trolls every time we played them? It got to the point that we would turn off new users for a few days so we wouldn't have to be constantly dealing with it.

It's awfully quiet these days...

(aside from diqlix, who is somehow becoming tolerable)

Pathetic fanbase. It wasn't enough for the NFL just to make up new rules to appease them a week before the playoffs but they also expected NFL to just hand them the one seed/the bye when they decided not to play a football game all week.

Buffalo fans should be grateful the NFL is not forcing them to play a neutral site game against Cincy. The Bengals got screwed big time.

They ****ed themselves out of Mahomes and settled on Allen. I’d be big mad too

absolutely this. Buffalo should've got an L, cinci a W.

I don’t understand that logic. I think Cinci made out the best of anyone.

Cinci went from potentially losing the division and dropping to the 5 seed, to being guaranteed a division championship and the 3 seed at minimum. The “no contest” made their last 2 games irrelevant.

Baltimore is who got screwed the most.

No, not even close. After swatting the Bills, the Bengals would have been the #2 seed, beat Balt then host the #7 seed before inviting Buffalo back to Cinci.

The NFL is giving Buffalo the benefit of a possible win by doing this neutral field crap and giving the Bengals NO benefit in saying that they may need a coin flip to decide where a WC will be played. Bengals got screwed the most and Buff is sitting back just reaping the benefits.

Yep. Cincy got hosed. Bills got off easy and want to cry poor

If their HC had an ounce of integrity he would sit his starters and give the Bengals at least a chance at the #2, after everything the Bengals have done for him.

Yet he sits back and doesn't say a word.

Yeah, there's the trade off of the bye week for the Chiefs, where as there's no such trade off for the Ravens... the Ravens would just be screwed out of a potential home game if they did the neutral site thing.

And then doing it based on win percentage, if the Ravens win tomorrow, still screws the Ravens.

I expect they'll be in playoff form though and it won't matter.

^^^ This is all guesswork.

There is no reason to expect that Cinci ends up beating Buffalo outside of pure speculations and guesswork. Especially after losing a 22-0 lead against the Mac Jones lead Patriots and needing a miracle fumble with 1 minute left to barely hold onto victory.

There is also no way to prove they would have beaten the Ravens who already beat the Bengals in October. I guess you could say “well Lamar is not playing now” but Lamar had a bad game against Cinci in October, about the level of play you could expect from Huntley, and still won.

Cinci was giftwrapped the division and 3 seed without having to do anything at all.

Unfortunately I think both the Chiefs and Bills needed to lose this week for Cincy to grab the 2 seed right?

BigRedChief 01-07-2023 09:03 PM

Damn we are turning on each other like Cassell/Croyle is our QB again.

We'll find out tomorrow, you're team wanted no part of the Bengals after Damar was stabilized, they saw the writing on the wall, They were going to be the 3 if they resumed on Tues/Wed.
