LOL, yeah. I've been known to have to be reminded of that when doing leg presses.

It kind of became a thing when I row. That story I told earlier about my first 1000m row... whenever I would pull back, my trainer was telling me to exhale. I thought I was doing the opposite. The next time I did some intervals, I paid attention, and it turns out I take short breaths at the start and end of each pull.

It's just kind of been a thing with me ever since. In doing whatever it is I'm doing, I want to get the most I can out an exercise, do it properly...and not pass out. :) I guess breathing matters a little more in my interval training.

Yeah, that's pretty normal. When I do sets of 5 reps or less, I may breathe once or twice. Sometimes not at all. I just don't find it matters too much for me. I prefer to hold my breath and stay tight.

I don't do that on high rep stuff, though. Impossible.

It's no good for anyone that's serious about weight training or being fit. Idiots put out Pizza.

I'm serious about it and I'm doing just fine at PF.

My only gripe is that they could do with more free weights/free weight stations and the no grunting/dropping weights rule really bogs down your super heavy lifting... But, for women, that stuff isn't usually an issue.

It's pretty easy to ignore pizza and that's only one day out of the month anyway.

I tried yoga yesterday. I'm seriously considering doing it more often. It's awesome.

Checking in on about 10 weeks on Keto. Down about 30lbs and my major lifts haven't dropped 1 lb yet. I'm really going to kick it in the ass these next 5 weeks so I can be in the best looking shape of my life for birthday 35. (face removed to prevent being "Billayed" in the future :D)

That's fine.

The issue is that demonizing food groups as "fattening" is bad. You can absolutely be ripped to shreds eating everything you just said to stay away from. You just have to pay attention to your macros and overall caloric intake. This isn't rocket science.

ok - that's what I was gathering - I just think America is too "As a matter of fact" with the carb control thing, so I guess my point is - try not to eat four slices of bread - if someone did - they'd have 600 cals running against that daily caloric allotment - That's what I meant - I only eat pasta and bread on my cheat day, usually - And this is due to my addictive nature - so I (just me) have to pretty much practically eliminate these items - they work against me if I don't.

Oh man. It's 70 degrees here today and the BBQ place 3 blocks from my house just re-opened their food truck. Arrrrrrrrrgh. Need willpower.

Nah. I'll probably just have a real light breakfast and lunch and then CRUSH a burnt end sandwich for dinner after a workout.

I heard it's a bad idea to eat carbs before bed though. I think luv told me that.

Nice job man. Whats a sample day look like for you? Are you following a specific keto plan like Lyle McDonals or Palumbo's diet? I may consider keto in about 6 months after I gain another 10lbs or so.
