Lucas is too slow for us, he should only play sparingly due to foul trouble etc, and i agree that Traylor has his limitations but at least he can rebound.

Literally the only thing that matters for a rim protector, is wingspan and standing reach. You guard with your hands up. You cover space by your wingspan, that is why big guys who also are good at steals have long arms as well. You would rather have a 6ft 9inch guy with a 7ft 4inch wingspan than a 7ft 1inch guy with at 7ft wingspan.

I don't think Bragg is going to be a real defensive presence. He is about the same height and wingspan as Perry Ellis, who has a 6ft10inch wingspan. Bragg is just a tad taller I believe. A cross between Perry Ellis and Marcus Morris would probably be a good comp for Bragg, actually.

Bragg looks like Julian Wright with a jumpshot and possiblity to block shots. Not quite as skilled handle wise but close.

Yeah, it looks to me like Bragg is more of a wing type player, not a post man. But I've looked at 5 minutes of highlight reel.
