They could use a DPOY quality player, yeah.

Cavs had a coach that could coach a defense good enough to offset a player like Draymond. LeBron got him fired. His fault.

They were talking about what the best case scenario for LeBron? Because that's what I was talking about.

I feel like this has more to do with Kyrie not knowing where Lebron is going next year than anything. He doesn't want to be left high and dry with Love

This coach sounds like a miracle worker. Where does he coach now in the NBA?

penbrook 07-21-2017 04:23 PM

Cavs in talks with Knicks/Suns in 3 team deal. Melo/Bledsoe/2018 1st to CLE. Kyrie/Shump to NY. Frye/Ntilinka to Suns. (Per Yahoo)

Yeah we're going to pretend like the Cavs defense didn't fall off a cliff after Blatt left. And that that coach didn't prefer Scrappy defensive players to play beside LeBron.

David Michael Blatt (Hebrew: דיוויד מייקל בלאט‎‎; born May 22, 1959), is an Israeli-American professional basketball coach, and a former professional basketball player. He is the head coach for Darüşşafaka of the Turkish Super League and the EuroLeague.

Hmm.

I tend to think the same thing, but the Cavaliers did beat the best team ever. The best team ever went 73-9. And Kyrie & Lebron BEAT THEM. The best team ever wasn't last year's GSW. But it's like splitting hairs.

New World Order 07-21-2017 04:27 PM

Draymond had the worst fg% amongst starters for both teams in the Finals.

Wow. Cavs get much better in the short term.

New World Order 07-21-2017 04:29 PM

And then the best team ever added Kevin Durant and crushed them.
