Also doesn't prove they're true

:doh!: He was released because allegedly the video PROVED a lie. The other issues you mention cannot be what the lie would be about.

Watching the video it is clear why the prosecutor did not file charges. That girl was just as much the agressor as Kareem.

Is there any footage of prior to the altercation that may shed some light leading up to it? Was she really banging on the door prior to the altercation to be let back in after being kicked out of the room?

I've asked that question as well. She was clearly outside the room trying to get back in when the video started. If that video exists, then the hour prior to that video also exists.

Fair point. I just find it hard to believe it was all about the public videos. I would assume the Chiefs also learned a few things within hours of the video release. Maybe stuff we haven't seen or heard about yet.

I think you’re right.

He’s too radioactive right now...I guess the Redskins might claim him since they don’t seem to care about public perception.

I hate to say that but I think this is a big deal for us on the field.

Respectfully disagree. We have a very deep stable of capable RBs and Hunt was not head and shoulders above both Williams men and Ware. If there was ever a position we could afford an injury or screw up off the field it was at RB.:hmmm:

Entirely possible. All I have to go on is what we are told. And from what we've been told I have a question or two.

Hunt should have made better decisions. He should not have laid hands on the young woman for anything other defensive purposes. I do not condone his decisions and actions, and those decisions and actions are ultimately responsible for his situation. Even if he didn't lie and is getting hit only because of the video, it is still his fault. But if he didn't lie and the franchise is lying to cover their ass I would like to know about it. I would like to know just how much hope I should invest in this team.

Since when was 19 considered "underage"? We all know that dog ain't gonna hunt. And if it's true that Hunt tried to force her to have sex against her will with a member of his entourage, then he deserved every name she might've thrown at him, and more.

All we know for certain is what we see in the video. Everything else is nothing more than he said/she said while in CYA mode, and should be taken with a huge grain of salt. The video clearly shows Hunt escalating the situation by leaving his room to confront her in the hallway, and ends with him kicking her while she's down. There's no way to sugarcoat that or justify it away with lame excuses that can't be proven one way or the other. He had to be cut.

The other woman (the one who wasn't kicked) does get her phone stolen from her by a member of Hunt's posse there at one point as she's trying to record what was happening. That much is clearly visible in the video. At least it was in the video I saw.

Hunt was head and shoulders better. He NEVER fumbled (well there was that one time on his very first NFL carry) and that is huge. Also could catch just about anything thrown his way from anyplace on the field. He could also turn nothing into something. He could do it all very well - better than the vast majority of RB's in the league. He will be missed...

IF one of the other RB's fumbles at a critical moment, you may change your opinion.
