I haven't seen anyone hoping that the truth is hidden ... from anyone.
I've seen denial, anger, bargaining ... all the normal stages of grief. But I haven't seen anyone pleading for a cover-up. Maybe I missed it.
For my part, I would welcome absolute transparency in this deal. It would bring some closure for everybody and reveal the "whos" and "whys" that are extremely murky at this point.
Meanwhile, the sanctimonious posturing is a little hard to handle when it takes the form of conflating a reasonable desire for objectivity with abuse-abetting. I mean, damn ...
