I haven't seen anyone hoping that the truth is hidden ... from anyone.

I've seen denial, anger, bargaining ... all the normal stages of grief. But I haven't seen anyone pleading for a cover-up. Maybe I missed it.

For my part, I would welcome absolute transparency in this deal. It would bring some closure for everybody and reveal the "whos" and "whys" that are extremely murky at this point.

Meanwhile, the sanctimonious posturing is a little hard to handle when it takes the form of conflating a reasonable desire for objectivity with abuse-abetting. I mean, damn ...

Worse she could end up in jail.... Nothing on the recording is going to hurt Tyreek legally, but it could hurt her.

If they had nothing to charge him with before, they sure as shit have nothing now. Her testimony in court wouldn't pass.

This is why the NFL needs to draw the line. If they don’t there will be a team that snags up Hill in a heartbeat the second the Chiefs cut him. They will care little to nothing for the court of public opinion as long as they are winning.
