Sone of you guys will never be happy in life.
“But he didn’t wreck shit every week” Dude was clearly hurting and was hurt in camp. He didn’t sit on the sideline for several weeks and milk it like Berry or Ford. He ****ing played as much as he could until they forced him to sit out. He ****ing played through nerve damage AND severe sickness. The guy lost 12 lbs and played a few days later. This defense has changed and a major part of it is bc of goddamn leadership. Veach ****ing killed it with Clark and HB. They are 100% worth every penny. They aren’t sitting on the couch saying “I’m not playing this week” for the 10th **** all time. They aren’t having to be motivated by ****ing JAG’s like Justin Houston’s sorry ass. They are warriors and we needed warriors. But hey guys. By all means. Tell us about how late 1st rd picks like LJ Collier would have been better than Frank LMAO |
I had the integrity to admit I was wrong about the Chiefs not making the playoffs and took my lumps for it.
Some of you need to step up and do the same with Clark. You were just plain ****ing wrong. Just like I was about going to the playoffs, largely based on how the defense was playing. |
They weren't really wrong though, he wasn't good early.
Now, he was hurt and we know that now, so with that info, it changes things a bit. He's been awesome once he's healthy, so it's great. |

I was wrong and so were they. |

You were wrong cause..well, I dunno why. |
It was too early to say he sucks. Same on Veach.
But I mean, the Chiefs have a history of talking up players that suck and trying to sell it to us as they are good. We're just a bunch of PTSD fans because of it. Like for instance, I think Breeland Speaks sucks and will continue to think this until he plays well. But I gave it a year |
A lot of things have gone about as good we could have hoped for since the early part of the season:

This is Overreaction Planet obviously, but there's a huge difference between someone who is struggling out of the gate with a new team and someone who ****ing sucks |

As for the this thread, at this point I think it's become a rallying cry (at least it has for myself) rather than a disparagement. Now I'm inclined to post "Clark Sux!" after he makes a play in jest as often as I might post "Frank rocks" or whatever. At any rate, I'm really glad that Frank's splash-play production has risen up to a CP-respectable level, and that the defense overall has also become a unit that the team can lean on. They've become a group that I want to see on the field rather than one that scares me when they have to go out there. |
This thread needs to ****ing die.

I love Frank Clark.
|
Clark had a sack that took 10.8 seconds to happen, and on the sack he ran a total of 42 yards.
Amazing effort by Clark, and tremendous coverage by the secondary. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk |
Clark would've had 5 sacks against any other QB not named Deshaun or Lamar.
|
The number of times he took Watson out of the play had to be in the neighborhood of 15, and Watson, largely was really really bad on the move.
And they missed him being held a LOT. |

Even Derrick Thomas didn't show up like this in the postseason.
Frank Clark is the ****ing truth. 3 sacks, 4 QB hits, 3 TFL WHAT A ****ING BEAST |
Frank Clark no longer sucks. If it wasn't for the offense (Mahomes and Kelce specifically) he'd be my vote for MVP of this game.
|
He never suck i thought i knew there was something wrong with him but now he healed he's the murder machine!
|
Clark is one of the Chiefs players who is very expressive and very communicative with the crowd. He's in the game. He's a showman. He's an animal.
Before going into the tunnel at the half when every other player is shuttling in, Clark pauses, flexes, tries to get the crowd hyped up. After the game, again, most players disappear into the tunnel. Clark takes off his gloves. Disburses them to two kids who rushed down right in front of me. Has some more gloves and gives them to another kid. The kid ends up fighting over them with another and Clark admonishes, "Whoa whoa, you need to relax." He senses the fans want more. He goes back to the bench and grabs a hat and a knit cap. Concludes the cap kinda sucks. Throws the knit cap into the crowd to give them something more. He was the last Chiefs player in the locker room because of this interaction. Frank Clark definitively does not ****ing suck. |

God Damn it. I just love it when I'm ****ing right. It's a God damned roller coaster ride of epic proportions, but **** I'll take it. Excuse me now, I have to watch the game in it's entirety, since I missed the entire second half.
But . . . MOTHER ****ER, I LOVE MY ****ING KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!!!!!! FRANK CLARK IS KING ****ING KONG!!!! I TOLD YOU ****ING BITCHES HE WAS THE ****ING MAN!!!! |
Happy to say I was very wrong about Frank Clark. Dudes a great player and unlike Dee Ford he is good against the run. He isnt just a one trick pony like Ford was.
Hats off to all the Chiefs fans who didn't jump the gun like I did and said Clark was going to be just fine and good job by Veach for getting this guy. Even though we may have overpaid if we win SB this year it will be well worth it. |

I am guilty of shit talking on him, though. When it comes down to it he's off to a good playoff start. |

THAT WAS THE GREATEST ****ING GAME I'VE EVER SEEN ****ING PERIOD. [ wELL HALF A GAME. I HAVE TOWATCH THE SEOCND HALF NOW. WHATEVER. HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE GREASTEST SECOND QUARTER EVER. |
Reposting because it's just that jaw dropping to me. Dee Ford and Justin Houston combined had 5.5 sacks over 12 games in the postseason for the Chiefs. Clark had 3 sacks in his first game.

I need to eat so much crow on frank. So much. I did not like the trade because of compensation but wanted to give him a chance. 6 weeks in, I wanted him gone. By any means. Now he is a stud. Just watched his last press conference, and I love the guy.
|
He understands winning mindset. Swagger. Do your job. Give respect and listen to people. HIGHLIGHT AND GET SHIT DONE ON TECHNIQUE
|
How did people not like this trade.
|
Glad to say I never posted in this thread until now.

I think being skeptical of the compensation was fair (though I was fine with it, because stars are the type of guy to overpay for). They gave up a ton to get him and then signed him to a monster contract. Meanwhile, Dee Ford signed a smaller deal with more outs (because the 49ers smartly realized he’s a one-dimensional player who also is Bitchmade). I was always on board because I perceived it as a major upgrade from Bitchmade Dee. Healthy Clark is just that. He also played through several injuries, which we all know Bitchmade Dee doesn’t do, and when playing hurt at least maintained his responsibilities in the defense and set the edge against the run. |
I love this thread
