Not my preference here but he fits like a glove for what we need.
|
Good lord Mahomes to Rice sounds nice
|
Not sure why we need to trade up
|
Nice pick
|
Rashee Rice! Nice!
|
**** yeah
|
Young WR will put their lives on the line for PM

Ten bucks says Hyatt is that 2nd round CP hero who falls multiple rounds

Did we really have to trade it for him?

Who had Rice on their scorecard?
Don't recall many seeing this guy |
We like our small school WR’s
|
He was the WR I thought we could take in the second. I just didn’t think we’d take him with Hyatt still on the board after trading up.
But, you trust what Veach sees. |

Well, Louis likes him. Can't wait to see him in preseason.

Did we really pick him, because you sure wouldn't know it watching this shit show
|
Don't know enough about the guy to make much of a judgement one way or another, but I suppose I'll trust them on this one. That being said, between Rice, Moore, and Toney we had better have at least one #1 caliber WR on the roster now at some point in the near future.

It's like crack to Veach at WR. |
First Miami player drafted… how far this program has fallen.

How much did we give up just to move up?

Kristie tynes

Lawrence Tynes is up there making the pick. I wonder how Kirstie is doing.

Chiefs traded up with the Lions to select SMU WR Rashee Rice with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Chiefs gave up picks 63, 122, and 249 to get this pick from Detroit, and also got back 194th overall. Rice will open up behind Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and Kadarius Toney on the depth chart. A four-year contributor for the Mustangs, Rice (6’1/204) beat up on his group of five competition … except for when he didn’t. Inconsistency is a hallmark of Rice’s film and box scores, though his 96/1,355/10 2022 was by far his best campaign. Big for a receiver by the standards of the modern NFL, Rice is also fast for his size, posting a solid 4.51 40-yard dash but better 10- and 20-yard splits. A dominant jumper with a 41-inch vertical and 10’8’’ broad jump, Rice enters the league with a relative athletic score of 9.53 out of 10.0, putting him in the top 100 of the nearly 3,000 wideouts graded since 1987. Those numbers show up in his ball skills. Also a YAC threat, Rice plays strong. He does need to clean up the finer points of his game, which is always easier said than done at the NFL level. Already 23 and arriving from a non-power five conference, Rice will need to win with size while he works to become a better technician. |
Nice pick, keen to see what he can do with Patty throwing him the ball!
|
**** you ESPN interviewing that ****ing bitch that couldn’t handle staying around for day 2. Now I missed the highlights and people introducing our new pick. **** off.
|
RB to Cowboys I’m guessing

Still trust Veach to make the right choices. Wonder if this has any impact on a Hopkins trade?
|
Classy move, Drew Pearson!

Hyatt, Tillman, Mims, and maybe even AT Perry would have been better. I didn't expect to hate this pick so much, but this feels like a waste since we traded up for a player that would have probably been there at 63
|
Drew Pearson is great!
|
What's killing Jalin Hyatt is he is a 1 trick pony receiver and with what 1 trick he ran a 4.4 teams all went, this is a homerun hitter that isn't all that fast.

Eww... seems excessive. They know something I don't. /in Veach I trust |
WR named Rice, I'm in.

Just glad they went receiver, and he's not tiny.

Bruh, we have hosted five consecutive AFCC games, been to three Super Bowls, winning two since 2019.
I absolutely refuse to bitch about any picks. Trade up, trade down, position, whatever. In Veach, Reid, and company, we trust. Rice must be a bad mother****er. Can't wait to see him play! :thumb: |

Hooker still on the board, and the other Tennessee WR also right?
Seems like NFL teams think it was more scheme than talent with the Vols offense. |

Yeah, that 149 is really a 7th rounder.

If this one doesn't work out we're gonna have to hear all next season about how we shoulda taken Hyatt or Perry, instead. |

How early would you guys roll the dice on Zack Kuntz? Or would you?

You guys are WAY off on Rice. WAY OFF. You're going to love this kid. He was one of my draft crushes. Just wait. |
Cincy is having a great draft

Turner just learned that he's going to have spend time with Eli Apple in a city with bad food. He's not happy.
