I think the signs are there to lure "normal" non-infected humans to the safe zone in order to be harvested as food ala The Road or The Book of Eli. Yes, I do believe the food the garden lady is offering them will be drugged. The cliff hanger, Darryl is right behind them and Rick is right behind Darryl. Should be interesting next week.

If I remember correctly, the first guy that was laying in the bed never said "Claimed". The 2nd guy that walked in - which is also the same guy that Darryl was having problems with - said "Claimed" which resulted in the fight. The fight is where the guy getting choked out saw Rick under the bed - which is how the group knows it is Rick that they are looking for.
