I actually thought about that. Although I was mostly thinking that I keep going up, so eventually I'm going to get to go down. No such luck.

Good job Keg. Seriously. Those are the days I take the very most pride in. Will power > performance every single time AFAIC. |
I'd much rather run downhill. It's easier. And I don't generally have to worry about burning in either my lungs or my knees (although I do regularly run through cramps). My struggles are much more psychological than physical. I have almost nothing in the way of willpower or perseverance. So in that sense today was a winner, but it sure wasn't much fun.

The downside of running 10 minutes after you wake up as a heavy sweater on a 95% humid day is that you may forget to grease up your nipples.
Feels like somebody stuck needles in those ****ers right now. :cuss: |
So I'm going to try the 24-16-24-16-24 routine.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday....I'll fast for 24 hours. Tuesday and Thursday....I'll fast for 16 hours. The weekends will consist of no fasting. |

It's my "punishment" for eating like shit for the last 2 weeks and not going to the gym. Speaking of which....it's back to the gym tonight. |

Leaving for the gym in 5 minutes.
One thing I did notice when I ran a mile, I walked a mile before I started running, as opposed to just walking for about 5 minutes. I'm going to try that again today. |
Turns out my run this morning wasn't quite the disaster I thought it was. Just walked the route, and the pedometer says 2.51 miles. Which isn't too bad for 25-minutes mostly uphill. I felt much slower than that at the time.

24 hour fast, followed by my best ever - 1 and a half miles, 18 minutes. This was the first time my lungs gave out before my legs did. After awhile my legs just stopped hurting, but my sides and lungs made up for that. I suppose you could say I did a 5k - I ran half of it straight through, the other half before and after the run.

Changed my workout up a bit today. Made it a lot shorter. Followed it up with a 5 mile run, but it went REALLY slowly. Took the dog, and she just couldn't keep up, especially in the heat. I felt like a douche for walking so much. Took me an hour to go 5.5 miles. Blah.
