You're looking for it and women can sense that shit a mile away. Stop looking or worrying about it and it will come to you. It's a fine line that's hard to master!

Don't worry about the last one cuz it wasn't meant to be. Guaranteed there's a better more compatible woman around the corner!

Whatever. That's going to be GifHorse's response... But what people don't tell you is that you could do all of that self improvement stuff but it'll never net you a quality woman.

Why?

You're either attractive or you're not. No amount of bench presses or cooking classes will save you.

It's not just the looks, you have to be the whole package, you have to be rich, good looking, and charming. **** that noise, I just bust my nut and move on, it's not worth it. Everyone has been programmed to think that they have to date and get married. It's just another skeem to trap you and hold you down.

Yup.

I have to look at this way.

IF I get a job it will be no more than $28k a year.

That's not impressive.. unless we're talking about undocumented workers or Stone County trailer park queens.

There are tons of short guys, broke guys, ugly guys, fat guys, nerdy guys. Criminals, guys with no car, guys that still live with their parents, guys with acne, guys with small dicks... And yet, somehow they manage.

28K where you are isn't impressive but it is enough. Cost of living is relatively low and you don't have kids. You could make due with 28K...

You're just a pussy. You could be making 50K and you'd still find a way to lose.

Dayze 06-29-2014 08:49 PM

you find it when you're not looking for it.

happened to me when I wasn't looking at all. I will have been married 10 years this October.

much like job hunting, networking is a huge deal. the more people you know, the more people 'know someone' who they think you'd like etc. I can't imagine just hitting the bricks, 'cold calling' (for lack of a better term) at bars etc.

Well I mean if a woman won't date a dude who makes 28k but will go for a guy that looks and acts like the first guy as long as he makes an extra 22k kind of points at the problem being located at the independent variable..

absolutely agree about the $ part to a degree. I wasn't making jack when I met my wife, but I was also only 23. so it was sort of par for the course.

older women (and men, to be fair) do place a certain percentage on income IMO. To what degree, if at all, it varies. Money's not the only thing, but it's part of the equation.

Of course they do. Women search for security and income becomes more and more important the older we get.

I was under the impression that Discuss is around 27 or something, though.. It's totally normal for guys to be figuring shit out at that point in time.

Dayze 06-29-2014 09:02 PM

yeah....he's ****ing loaded.

Yep. I agree. I don't know Discuss etc, but when I was 27 I was in the process of figuring shit out as well.
