Jiminez did a pretty damn good job last night giving up 2 runs on 4 hits

that game could have easily been a blow out. Ortiz had one go foul by less than a foot, with two guys on. Then Lugo had a ball go foul by no more than an inch with men on second and third. 13" was the difference between 2 runs and 7 runs

but it didn't hell you wanna talk that way Colorado had just missed a couple of homers by inches to straight away center....it is not about what might have happened but what did happen

I don't recall exactly when but Helton had on that put the CF up against the wall and then several innings later Matsui had one that went to the warning track....both had buse runners on...soooooo....like I said it doesn't matter what could of happened....hell Helton may have put the Rockies up had Holliday not got picked off first....who cares about what might have been ....it didn't

ok, you are talking about putting the center fielder almost to the wall (a twenty foot high wall mind you) which makes that no where close to going out, then putting a guy to the warning track (again not even to the wall), both just fly balls.

the two instances I mentioned were legit plays. if ortiz's ball stays fair its a homer. If Lugo's ball stays fair its a double. Both your plays were fair balls and were routine flyballs. If you told me they made diving catches for both and they would have changed the momentum of the game I would agree with you. But you are talking about deep flyouts.

an IF Helton hits it with a little more muscle and IF Matsui hits it an inch lower on the bat it is a different game...IF Holliday doesn't get picked off first IF the Rox don't leave 5 on base IF IF IF IF IF FIF IF IFIF IF IFIF FIFIFIFIFIFFIIF
