See I see it the other way around. You have 2 strikes on you then you have to swing at anything close. DDJ on the other hand was more of a natural reaction. Stupid, but instinctive.

My issues with the 9th

1. Billy should have never been allowed to swing at 2-0. Wood was nowhere near the plate and he wings at a decent enough pitch but should have not swung.

2. Teahan looking like he has never seen a major leaguer throw a curveball

They are becoming what everyone thought they'd be last year.

I have a feeling that they're going to run and hide before the season's over. We might finish 2nd, but, unfortunately, I could see this being a distant 2nd.
