It's just pissed me off. KC is a major engineering hub, aviation hub, the surrounding states provide most of the food. What do those twats do? Unload containers from China and pay $12 for a beer? It's pathetic how they view middle America. I've lived on a coast, yea it's fun, but there is no job security or affordable housing. **** those guys.

I say we start flying banners over NY that say "Yosted!"

Apparently the Royals only have bandwagon fans who know nothing about baseball and the Mets were the better team. The Royals aren't good, just got lucky. Their pain makes me happy. **** New York!

They are having a really hard time dealing with the reality that KC is the better team. |
We destroyed their souls and made them question the very existence of life. I love it.

In their memory, I'm going to watch the 9th and 12th innings again.

Oh my god that would be awesome. |
I was trying to get downtown yesterday but apparently someones clothes got caught in the door when exiting the train and it drug them down the track. The whole train line got shut down causing a huge cluster. Couldn't get an Uber, no taxis around, so I said **** it and walked the 3 miles. The whole time I'm walking, I'm picturing Matt Harvey Forrest Gump sprinting out of the dugout with 44k chanting his name in the top of the 9th and I was giving 0 ****s.

What level of masochist do you have to be to watch the victory speeches of the team you lost to?

Don't worry, Mets fans!
Report: Mets to extend Collins with 2-year deal by Bryan Mcwilliam Nov 03, 3:59 PM The New York Mets are reportedly set to extend manager Terry Collins after he guided the team to their first World Series appearance since 2000. Collins will receive a new two-year deal that's set to be announced Wednesday at Citi Field, according to ESPN's Adam Rubin. The contract will run through the 2017 season, and Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports the deal is worth about $3 million in total. The Mets have scheduled a news conference for Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET. "I'm thrilled to death to be here," Collins told reporters after the World Series. "I can honestly tell you, baseball for 45 years, it tells you how hard it is to get here. So you better enjoy it, and I'm enjoying it." Collins said he managed with his heart instead of his gut in a deciding Game 5 loss on Sunday, when he let an emotional Matt Harvey convince him to pitch the ninth inning despite the manager initially preferring Jeurys Familia. The decision proved costly, as Harvey allowed a lead-off walk, followed by a double, which sparked the Royals come-from-behind win and ended the Mets' season. "They should all be happy," Collins said Monday. "They need to hold their heads up. There were two teams left, and we were very proud we were one of them." Collins owns a 394-416 regular-season record since becoming the Mets' manager in November 2010. He also owns a postseason record of 8-6, and would become the longest-tenured manager in Mets history if he completes his new contract. |
Harvey will talk him out of signing the deal.
