Whether it was intentional or not, Cinci ended up with the best possible draw last season. Raiders and Titans were the best possible path for the non-1 seed to get to the AFCCG.

Excellent bowling alleys there.

I'm not arguing what I would do. I'm with you. I'm just saying they did it just last year. Have to look up that could have happened. I think they had a chance at 5 but rested and stayed the 6? I don't remember. This situation is different but just remember they have shown a willingness to protect health over seed.

It's close to Niagara Falls if that punter wants to meet a nice girl for a romantic weekend.

one week was delayed in 2001 and the bye week between the playoffs and the super bowl was removed...

Definitely different factors. But it's something to remember I think.

The country also willingly wanted the games to be played. It wasn't disrespectful, it was more considered patriotic to play.

Yes, but 1/ only because Burrow was hurt in the prior game and they wanted him to be fully healthy and 2/ they didn’t control their destiny in improving their playoff seed (ie, even if they won, other teams needed to lose).

Very, very different situation here.

I tend to agree. Cincy should be penalized due to the issue. BUF should forfeit. Sucks, but thats life.

vastly different, I don't know how they fix what is happening to the Ravens. They literally have been eliminated from winning the division through no fault of their own.

Exactly... so move the playoffs back a week and play the Bills/Bengos that week. Games go on this weekend. If the Bills refuse to play then they can forfeit. There are already conventions in the rulebook for the forfeiture of a game.

As others have already said. Once Bill/Bengals know the outcomes of this weekend games, they might play differently, if they don't play before this weekend (a window that is likely shut) they shouldn't play that game at all...
