God I hate the Astros so much.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 07:53 PM

God, Scrabble is worthless.

Marcellus 09-27-2011 07:54 PM

LaRussa is a ****ing idiot.

O.city 09-27-2011 07:54 PM

Good grief.

Start Croyle 09-27-2011 07:56 PM

This is terrible! And embarassing!

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 07:57 PM

You did it backwards, douchebag. You're supposed to K the batter then have the next one GIDP.

O.city 09-27-2011 07:58 PM

We scratch and claw to get back into it then turn around and **** it up

pretty good damage control, I thought.

O.city 09-27-2011 08:00 PM

When you walk 2 guys to load the bases with no outs it's ****ing it up in my book.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 08:08 PM

Tony's desire for veteran leadership further submarines the team. The guy Mo stupidly traded for the worst player in MLB last year just went 2 2/3 scoreless against us.

Simply Red 09-27-2011 08:16 PM

Berkman to get a jack this inning for the equalizer.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 08:26 PM

ALLEN MOTHER****IN' CRAIG!!

Simply Red 09-27-2011 08:27 PM

I'm virtually psychic.

Marcellus 09-27-2011 08:27 PM

Well, here we go again. Tie game. Roller coaster is still in motion. Keep your arms and legs inside please.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 08:34 PM

OMFG the two biggest albatrosses in the everyday lineup this year have the two biggest hits in the biggest game of the year.

ROFL ROFL

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 08:34 PM

****O!!

Marcellus 09-27-2011 08:36 PM

Wham bam. 3 run lead. Come on and keep pounding these cellar dwelling shitbags.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 08:36 PM

frazod, you must really be enjoying not watching this :)

Simply Red 09-27-2011 08:39 PM

See there, you all bitching like little girls, had NOTHING to ****ing cry about, congrats, I'M the one who should be pissed, oh well, Braves to stay home again. Maybe now they'll get a true slugger w/ a leader element.

You back from the pRon already?

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 08:45 PM

LaRussa takes out Sanchez, who is cruising, for Rhodes, who promptly walks the lefty and now has to face Lee, who kills LHP.

I hate TLR

No shit. Just no shit.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 08:46 PM

Oh yay. We just burned Sanchez to burn Rhodes on walking a LHP.

Arthur Rhodes: Left handed zero out guy.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 09:01 PM

At what point do you learn not to challenge that guy's arm?

It had better have been a pitch count or soemthing with Sanchez's first game back because it makes no sense whatsoever for any other reason. You don;t pull a pitcher who is cruising when you let them bat with runners in scoring position just to face one batter?:hmmm:

Marcellus 09-27-2011 09:06 PM

So who pitches the 8th and 9th?

Allen Mother****ing Craig.

Dude is the truth, and absolutely needs to have an everyday position.

You just have to find a way to get his bat in the lineup 500 times a year. It's just too good.

Simply Red 09-27-2011 09:14 PM

Oh and **** off. :deevee:

Marcellus 09-27-2011 09:15 PM

Hard to believe we were down 5-0 and the bullpen came in in the 3rd.

Thank God we have the expanded roster right now.

Its going to be another year now if Pujols resigns.

Nah. I realize that he's a butcher, but I'd almost rather have them install him at third and move Freese to 2B. Both of their bats profile to those positions, but yes, the defense would be BRUTAL.

Ideally, you try and find a way to get him 100 starts between the 3 OF positions and another 20 or so at 3rd.

Yeah, taking on a pissed off and rested Philly club without waino is going to be tough. Taking 3 out of 4 a week a go doesnt count.

But, I'd rather be doing that than watching the Braves in the playoffs. Sorry, Simply Red

BigRedChief 09-27-2011 09:22 PM

Carp is going to throw a complete game tommorrow.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-27-2011 09:23 PM

Punto, save that shit for tomorrow.

You never know though and really, I would rather watch those PO games than not.

And Punto hit a HR. LMAO

I prefer Freese at 3rd, his defense hasn't been bad.

Does loshe pitch the thrusday game if needed?

You want to get Craig 500 PAs with this lineup he's going to have to play somewhere on the infield some of the time.

Who else? You have Carp tomorrow, Jackson is pitching right now and Garcia started last night. Obviously Westbrook is not an option.

That's it.

Put him at 2nd. His offense displaces his defense.

Marcellus 09-27-2011 09:42 PM

Tomorrow is the first playoff game for Stl.

Rams Fan 09-27-2011 09:45 PM

If they win tomorrow, and the Braves lose, I am tempted to go streaking.

No probs.

If it's a tie breaker, and they win that on Thursday, I'll be in downtown about a block or so away.

BigRedChief 09-27-2011 09:53 PM

Loshe
Garcia
Jackson
Carp

That look right for the playoff rotation?

Well, they haven't collapsed yet. They're having the same kind of September we did in 2006.

Pasta Little Brioni 09-28-2011 09:52 AM

Due to thier play in Sept. the Braves need to fire Gonzalez and open up the bank to a certain "Hall of Fame" overmanaging stooge :fire:

Funniest thing I've seen in a month:

http://twitter.com/#!/TortyCraig

For instance:

Quote:

I'll never forget when Chris Carpenter first saw me in the clubhouse. He said, "What the $#%& is a #%$&@# tortoise doing in here!?"

I said, "Hello, Mr. Carpenter. It's an honor to meet you." He replied, "What the $#%& is a #%$&@# talking tortoise doing in here!?"

Phillies have the bases loaded with 2 outs, but they pinch ran for Howard earlier, so he's not hitting here.
