Seems corny but I like goal-oriented routines like this. They seem to work for me.

Did chest/arms/core. Then did 25 minutes of HIIT on the treadmill.

I'm getting lean again after a period of bulking up. Getting ready for the beach vacation.

Man....I really need to get my ass in gear. It seems like everytime I'm ready to go to the gym....something comes up that I need to take care of. Plus I've just been lazy as shit lately.

I've got to say that 5 o'clock happy hour takes on a whole new dimension when your fast ends at 6pm.

Glass of wine and 23rd hour of a fast is interesting.

Didn't make it. :( 1.5 miles. I can only seem to do one day a week over 2 miles right now. I ran the 3 miles on Wednesday, but I was totally wiped last night, no energy.

For some reason, I get to the end of week 3 in that program and then just stop. I've done it twice now. Maybe I'll start it up again sometime.


I'm still jogging without any problems. Did 2.76 miles on Tuesday in 28 minutes, which is really good for me. When I regularly ran road races in high school 20 years ago, I'd be lucky to finish 10ks in less than 54 or 55 minutes. So basically I've always been a plodder, and I never really expected to be doing 10 minute miles at this point in time. Back up to 30 minute sessions tomorrow, and if I can keep the pace going I should be somewhere in the 2.8-3.0 mile range in a week.

Dude.....Target has Sugar-Free drink mixes. 0 calories....0 grams of sugar. They have all different kinds of flavors. That's how I drink my water.
