When I don't eat, I lose more weight than a methattic. Which I guess is the point of fasting. But I'm pretty sure I'm quasi hypoglycemic. I feel light headed and dizzy if I don't eat every three hours. Maybe I've just trained my body to expect food though.

I'm glad there really hasn't been any Hurricanes this year in the gulf or I'd probably have to go down there for a month on end working 80 hours a week. When I worked during Hurricane Ike and Gustav I lost 23 pounds in a month and was always tired and weak as shit.

Quasi Hypoglycemic.

****. Not getting any easier. Wife bought cookies. E.L. Fudge. **** that noise.

Anyway, yoga in a couple of hours. Push-ups before then. Yay.

48 hours? Is this something new?

I'm just trying to cut a ton of weight as quickly as possible. What better way to cut calories than to not eat them? :)

I may be wrong...but didn't it say in Eat, Stop, Eat....not to go past 30 hours of fasting. Once again....I could be wrong.

I mean I guess it doesn't matter as long as you're keeping up with your weight training and all.

John Barban, one of the ESE guys, did a 5 day fast recently. I'm not worried about it.

5 days? JFC.

Did it say how much weight he dropped in those 5 days?

Silock 07-26-2010 10:08 AM

It was a good 10 lbs, I think. About half and half fat and fluid.

The Franchise 07-26-2010 10:10 AM

I can't imagine fasting for 5 days. I'd have to be really ****ing busy and always have something to do.

Silock 07-26-2010 10:20 AM

Yeah, for sure.

Silock 07-26-2010 10:23 AM

The worst part is having to drink constantly to flush away all the stomach acid.

I'm thinking next month I might go vegetarian and see what that does.

Silock 07-26-2010 10:35 AM

Blech. Meat > not meat.

When I was at 38 hours, I had to make myself eat. I wasn't hungry after the first 24 hours.

The Franchise 07-27-2010 12:07 PM

24 hour fast today.

I'm not sure if this has been asked in the past or not....but which would be more beneficial?

Doing 5 days of 16 hour fasts or Doing 2 days of 24 hour fasts?

I refereed 6 U19 games this weekend. The amount of water I lost is insane.
