Call us when he no longer leads the league in turnovers by a wide margin.

2 TD's total including 5 rushed for 50 yards. A very solid game today, but with a rookie there are going to be ups and downs especially one with such an inferior supporting cast. We are seeing similar problems with RG3 this year and everyone was on his nuts, including myself last year. Most fans don't have the patience to develop young guys which is why fans in Washington were already wanting to see what Cousins could do and why the Chiefs never try to develop there on guy. This thread is living proof.

How did Alex do against the Raiders?

Looks like Geno isn't as bad as you all wanted to hope.

Really nice improvement today.

Clay, you're like an untrained puppy.

Didn't need to do much. Hell he didn't put up great fantasy numbers against Washington today. Did he have a bad game?

It's on now. Geno Smith is probably going to be starting for the Jets this season.

Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

So who's gonna win more NFL games over that time period?

Put your ten pounders on the table and make a vote

Alex, 9-0, white
Geno, 5-4, getting eaten by great white

there

When Geno plays decent Clay and his trusty sidekick Big Cat Daddy are going to pimp him all day. When he plays poorly they will be mysteriously silent or deflect it to talking about Alex Smith. It's their thing.

how insecure do you have to be to wait on a Jets Qb to play well to "stick it" to Chiefs fans?

it's not even about football, it's about them.

No, but his best games have been in the 3 losses IMO.

Nah. When he sucks he sucks, but I think that's part of being a rookie QB. There will be some ups and some stinkers. But continue with your imaginary argument.

I've like what I've seen from Smith that last 4 games though. Today was sort of a weird day with all the returns, but I was more impressed in the 3 losses than the 10 wins.

And these losses are Alex Smith's fault how?

Who said they were? I said those were his best games.

Unlike most of the people in this thread it's not all or nothing on these guys for me. There is some fluidity and shades of gray with players.

It's not an imaginary argument. In spite of the fact no one in the first round took Geno, and he has generally stunk up the joint and been one of the worst starting QBs in the league, you and Clay continue to drive the Geno train. You two are conducting the Geno Amtrak. Everyone but you two and SDH has bailed on it yet you continue to conduct it.

RunKC 12-08-2013 04:49 PM

Hey Clay, our bet is going to be close. Alex only needs 7 more passing TD's and he has 3 games.

You should be thankful that he didn't play a lot of the 2nd half. He could have easily had 1 or 2 more.
