I'd take that group over what NY currently has.

I mean shit, the guy had a running game and there was enough talent at receiver to move the offense.

I'm not nessesarily defending Geno or slamming Alex with that, either. Just showing that all rookie quarterbacks have their moments and its not entirely any kind of signal to their long term effectiveness.

You do know the Jets have the 10th best running game this year right? Geno should be good most weeks with that.

So a light switch suddenly went on with him? I doubt that. I blame playcalling in the first nine games more than Alex Smith playing like crap.

Eric Fisher

There is no room for objectivity around here. Alex is the awesome and Geno is the fail.

Right so we will blame him for the three losses then. Fair?

Objectivity? Geno has a decent game and you proclaim him the next Cam Newton? Very objective especially considering you have been pro Geno since pre draft.

Totally agree. He absolutely has had more than a couple moments when it was embarrassing...but he has also had moments where he showed top shell potential.

Rookie.

The kid runs a murderers row of defenses to finish the year, how he handles that stretch will say a lot about him as a player going forward.
