KU lost to Northern Iowa, Bradley and Bucknell. Raif LaFrentz cried while the game was still going on against Arizona. Cried on the court.

Cool shit man.

It is cool and you know the NCAA loves to schedule KU against WSU in the tournament. They know your crybaby fan base.

If any of you KU fans want to fight meet me at the Bellagio High limit room tonight and I’ll kick your ass and then tip you.

It’s shocking how much I’m not worried about that. Championship wins do a lot to offset these type of losses.

This team was living on the thinnest of margins all season long and it got them.

Free throws, dumbass plays, absolutely nothing behind Harris, size that didn’t develop defensively, and obviously missing perhaps the best coach ever was going to ding us at some point. Would have been nice to go out on a game that was played and officiated better, but it is what it is.

Yeah, I’m sure Self makes the difference in this one. We’ve seen so many great coaching decisions from him that have really changed games and frustrated opponents. Remember the triangle and 2 against UNC in 2012?

My hope for this tournament was that Self would be back for the second round to give us a strategical and emotional lift. We don’t lose in the first game of the weekend very often, so I think we would’ve gotten to at least the Elite 8. From there, who knows?

Sucks, but what can you do. Chiefs wouldn’t be the same without Reid either.

I think Self will hit the portal hard though. He’s proven to find key contributors consistently. Just since 2017, he’s grabbed transfers like Malik Newman, the Lawsons, Isaih Moss, Remy Martin, JCL, and Kevin McCullar.

I have full confidence that Self will grab a couple guys to give us some shooting and round out the roster. We’ll be right back here again.

I’m a Kentucky fan and alum. You’re a Wichita St. fan. The programs are not the same and KU>WSU.

At least we make the tournament often enough to have tournament memories.

Your best coach had a line of players lining up to report abuse. The only other relevant coach in the last lifetime was a KU alum.

But yeah man. Live up a loss the year after KU wins a Natty, the Coach is out with surgery, and the only viable point guard we have was hurt while your team is at home on the couch after getting blasted in the American.

Live it up man. It’s a great look on you.

Trolling is never not stupid.

You're a weird dude. Not unexpected coming from trash Wichita, but still.

Part of consistently being a high seed in this tournament is that you’re inevitably going to lose some tough ones.

Kentucky cheats and here NO ONE CURR!

If we have two great guards coming in, where does Harris play?

Those 3 start. We have two starting spots left and need shooters and at least one big man.

ChiefaRoo 03-18-2023 07:11 PM

Look at all the simps. Everywhere.

I still think it’s a fouling 50/50 shitfest either way (which we have long had problems with, as many other teams do) but Self is so good historically at winning close games (I think he has some crazy stat in that regard) that he may have found a way here. Still not gonna blame Norm though for what this game became.

Harris will be the starting point as long as he’s at Kansas
