Sometimes natural rock formations can appear to have remarkably humanoid (or in this case alienoid) features. It's just a trick of the mind. Humans tend to recognize patterns and shapes that are reminiscent of human forms and then our imagination just fills in the gaps.

Based on the big picture, that "alien" can't be much larger than 3 inches. Has to be a rock.
