The Chiefs haven't had a solid, let alone spectacular, left guard since Brian Waters retired.

Thuney will automatically improve the center and left tackle positions because he's just so freaking good, so it may not be necessary to go all in on Williams.

Florio says 5 years, $80 million.

I didn't see this coming

But judging from the anger from other fanbases we did well

wheeler08 03-15-2021 02:18 PM

So I’m not as smart as some of you. But why did we pay a ton of money to a guard when we have glaring holes at 2 tackles and a center? I thought Allegreti was serviceable.

That’s exactly where I’m at.

Thuney is a stud...but Silverback is a future HOFer.

If they sign both...that’s already an elite OL.

Oh I know I know.

This is a great signing. I’m just saying I really want Williams too. That would make this a HR offseason immediately.

A 5 year deal means you can have a lower cap hit this year. Williams should still be in play.

Williams Thuney Allegretti LDT Niang

That assumes we don’t even draft a starter. That’s damn solid.

RunKC 03-15-2021 02:20 PM

Could Thuney be our new C?

I don't disagree but I think that the left side of the line just got a huge upgrade, so if they decided to go with Reiff or trade for Dillard, the left side will be in the best shape it's been since I can't even remember when.

2010 maybe?

MAHOMO 4 LIFE! 03-15-2021 02:21 PM
