Anyway, I know everyone thinks that teams are going to be clamoring for Shane Buechele, but I think we can get him to the practice squad. Can we still protect a dude on PS or are we done with the Covid roster tweaks?

I thumbed by mistake. Players can be plucked from practice squads....I think they have to be on the 53 for the remainder of the year though. If Buechele isn't on our 53 we will lose him, everyone agrees to that notion. It's still a business and while Henne has been a very good #2 it's Buechele's time. It just is. Keep him or lose him!

Not going to matter, My favorite QB and the Best in the NFL, PMII, will remain healthy and vibrant all year.

We are now comparing our #2 and #3 to Patrick Mahomes, not Matt Cassel or Alex Smith.

No one forgot it, it was just so long ago that the Browns were even relevant that we don't have faith in his 37 year old body to carry his "HenneThing is possible" will to the end zone anymore.

Tough to forget Mike Livingston and, to some extent, Jacky Lee.

Buechele was almost picked off from the PS last year, that's why he was on the 53. He most likely wouldn't clear waivers, so there's no "we can get him on the PS" this year. Just because Henne has a contract doesn't give him a free ride. I don't think the brass had any idea as to the progress Buechele made from last year to this one. No one is going to beat down a doors for Henne and to continue to give him 1 year deals is just foolish.

I hate to see 3 QB's on the 53 roster, what to do ?

Imma go ahead and just trust Andy Reid and Brett Veach to make the right choice because they are nice men.
