Thanks for the correction. I edited the original post to correct my typo.

There's no need for that...it was seen charging towards the Planet by everyone else from five miles away. Quite frankly, I believe he deserves the rep for opening the door against himself on that one...that is to say, if anyone deserves rep at all.

Actually, we hadn't found out the truth about Germany until after we invaded; Stalin died during the Korean War of what were apparently natural causes; and I don't know what kept you from gaining power other than choice and a somewhat-violent temper, but I'm sure it wasn't too bad.

Some are interested in making observations...

Some are looking for middle school lunch table popularity.

To each their own. :thumb:

That's why your rep is turned off, right?

Not sure why I did it. Seemed weird...everyone has a million green boxes except for Warpaint. :)

I can still get and give rep...

But IMO rep has run its course on this board and I wouldn't have a problem with it being thrown out.

I don't think Jenson knew what he was getting into with this thread. I would encourage anyone to hit the library that wants to know more about something or someone...

I was and still am really interested in the life of Richard Feynman

Seeing as how I've always hated even thinking about gaining support among the vast majority of my peers--or anyone for that matter--I assume that you are referring to me as one of the first group. That apparently being the case...yes, to each their own. :toast:

Yes, the current Pope is indeed a person who could be called a saint. However, Catholisim is just plain wrong. Has been throughtout the history. I suggest you take European History AP and learn what kind of stuff they've been doing. Catholic Church was created in order to make money.

Herzig 01-23-2005 11:42 PM

It's interesting to me to see the scorn some people have for Catholics. They don't seem to realize that all Christian religions came from Catholicism in the first place. It's as puzzling to me as Sunni muslims killing Shiites..

Judge not lest ye be judged.

Don't all Churches do that in one form or another?

So massive corruption in the society and mass killing is OK as long as it's supported by the religious leaders? That is exactly what happened with Catholisism in the later middle ages.

I don't have much scorn for Catholicism itself...but I do in away because I distrust and dislike organized religion in itself. And it doesn't get much more organized than that.

I believe the word has been hijacked and chewed up and spit out so many times for so many things its not even funny.

But this isn't a debate I am interested in tonight so I will stop there. :)

That's why organized religion is bullshit. I believe in God but not in Church.
