I would suggest locking all children up until they are 21. I know, I know, chances are they wouldn't murder anyone, but who wants to take that chance. And besides, think of the lawsuits it would thwart - especially of this kept a child from being murdered.

And - I would like to take this opportunity to narc on the grade school teachers I had way back in the olden days. Almost all of them would, from time to time, draw on the chalkboard figures of a stick man being hung. And they used to "pretend" it was a game called hangman. That's right, hangman. My God, how obvious can you get?

Geez, it's no wonder I have all of these pent up homicidal tendancies.

Times have changed since your first grade teachers used stick men just ask coach. This mentality should put Rainman an America's most wanted. Damn felons.

Hey bunny, why you yank your post? Next time tell him to flip off the teacher when she has that attitude. Some of these teachers are all high and mighty now. Back when I still had my English Bully I was going through part of a school yard when I was walking her to the park at like 5PM at night. This teacher comes by and yells at me "there are no dogs allowed on school property get it out of here" I said "fuck you" which got the response "what did you say? "I said fuck you, you heard me. I help pay your wages and pay for this school I'm not hurting anyone fuck off I don't care if you like it or not". I thought they would call the cops for sure but they didn't.

I'm kind of paranoid that it could come back on me somehow.

I just want my kid educated. Missing one day of school from that teacher is no waste.

I took valuable time to go in for a conference with my wife, and the witch never makes eye contact with me, and talkes to my wife as if she is the one that is most qualifed to talk about my sons education. Sorry, but she has a HS diploma, and I have a college degree. Who knows more about education?

Its all I can do to keep from blowing my stack with this deal, then they would really know what my kid's problem is, angry white male at home, son is just acting out bull crap.

The last time he got booted, I went down to the office to fight it, and the secretary says, "Mr. so and so is busy, do you have an appointment"

I say, "Go get him and let him know I have an appointment right now, I just made it. He doesn't have anything more important to talk about right now than my Son's education."

Of course, I got in to see him right away, and we got the ball rolling for him.

They are trying to classify him as a disorder, autistic type thing called, but even if that is so, no DRUGS. We will just have to deal the best we can.

IMO, he is just being a boy and they are so pussified that they cannot deal with any questioning of authority what so ever. That is why the girls do well, and the boys get classified as ADHD, ADD, etc, until they get drugged into submission.

when I read the headline, I thought this would be another one of those rediculous things like that girl in Philidelphia who got arrested for bringing in scissors without a guard on them... That's stupid...

This, however, is totally different. These kids are specifically tormenting an individual with death threats. It doesn't matter if they are stick figures or perfect likenesses drawn with acrylic. The kid's NAME is written next to the victim, and their names are written next to the murderers... Clearly these kids are disturbed. And you can not take this shit lightly anymore. Kids get murdered in school today, and it's ignoring the threats that allow it to happen. There is no other interpretation to this other than to call it a threat to this individual.

Now, if they were just drawing figures like on www.stickdeath.com then it wouldn't be a big deal. Even if the drawing were representative of a celebrity, then I would let it go... Perhaps, if the drawing were a teacher, they would get suspended, but not arrested...

BUT, this drawing is of another student. That makes the threat very real and very scary. I'm sure the teacher involved made a judgement call (IE: do I believe these kids the type to be capable of harming someone) and then went to the dean. Dean goes to cops. Cops do what they should which is bring serious charges upon them. Nip that shit right in the bud... What they should have done for those ****ups in Colorado...

First, special ed doesn't necessarily mean reeruned. They might have a learning disability, or just be angry, uncontrollable children...

It's not like 9 and 10 year old are incapable of doing harm to another student... Also, these kids are probably the type that they don't get any kind of real punishment from their parents. Certainly, this behavior (threatening to kill another student) whether they intend to actually do it or not, left unchecked, will lead to even greater inappropriate actions as they grow up. Abosolutely, show then right now that this behavior isn't the same as speaking out of turn, where you get a detention. This is the kind of behavior that puts you in handcuffs... Perhaps, it will teach them a huge lesson, that could prevent a FUTURE Columbine...

So, this does not EQUAL Columbine... It just seems like this is the kind of behavior that those kids were probably up to 5 years before Columbine, and those teachers thought that throwing away the drawings was enough punishment...

You might be right, but I suspect this is no different than the crap that went on when we were kids too.

This stuff happened in the 50's and 60's just like now. Kids are the same - it's the adults who are reacting differently now. At least it seems that way to me.

Much, much more appropriate ways. Overkill to the umpteenth degree would be kicking them out of school. Charging the little tards with a felony is so far beyond freaking obscene I don't even have words to describe it. Suffice to say I think all parties involved in the decision making process in this case should be fired, the dean, the police officer and the State Attorney. If I was any of these people's supervisor they would be handed their pink slip. We have become a nation so full of cowards who have bought into this fear factor sold by the media that it is really becoming pathetic and embarrassing. I can only hope we do not follow the path of the British on issues like this. I have been laughing my ass off looking at how ridiculous these pansies act and now we like we are ready to fall right in line behind them. In this situation the teacher needs to teach, this falls on the dean who should have punished them and explained what they did wrong. If they do it again give them a stronger punishment and suspension. If they do it again kick them out, how difficult is that? "But what if there is no 2nd chance and they just kill him next time Troy?" Frankly they have a better chance of having a plane falling out of the sky and killing them and I am not going to protect them from that either. These are young males we are talking about here full of piss and vinegar that's what they are supposed to be we should embrace that not kill it. I would hate to think of what people would do to me for the dirt clod fights we used to get into or heaven forbid the BB gun fights we used to have when playing war. I still have a scar on my head from taking a pellet in the mug. Good god people relax and let our young males be what they are already.
