Then they play Baltimore. I know the Ravens aren't very good this year but, they've dominated the donkeys in recent years.

Donkeys reeling from two straight road losses, and then they play Baltimore?

I like it. http://justinmg.home.comcast.net/forums/gshappy.gif

They're good but we'll see how good in the weeks to come. Thus far, they did what they had to do early, and that is take advantage of the way their schedule played out. They are simply playing .500 on the road (when they actually do play on the road) and winning at home. The schedule makers did them a HUGE favor early on (again) with getting to play so many home games in the first half of the year. Even at this point, they have played 6 home games to only 4 road games, and none have been back-to-back on the road. In fact, they only play back-to-back road games ONCE all year. (At Dallas and at KC is coming up).

They have also managed to stay relatively healthy and they have a very good defense.
Just my take on things.

Keep on waiting for the Bronco collapse Chiefs fans, most of you predicted it would have already occurred.

This year's Denver team has a good mix of veterans and young studs who all have the right attitude instilled by the coaching staff: go tough from start to finish without making dumb mistakes.

Shannahan has done a damn fine job so far with this group; IMHO it's the best coaching season he has had since arriving at Denver. Of course he doesn't give out very many hugs but......

The road schedule is tough... and I'm glad that throttling the Texans has made this place happy again.

We had a lot of fun laughing at Shannahan about the "Browncos", but it is starting to look like he knew what he was doing. It may have been the steal of the decade from my current perspective.

Howdy Ed,
Congrats on treating the Texans like doormats yesterday. LJ looked pretty good.

As to the draft/free agent signings Shanny pulled off this year IMHO the only way to gauge whether any moves made are worth a darn is if they result in playoff success. Another first-round exit would make this year's team the same as the others.

Hey Vail!
It was fun to watch a laugher, it has been a while since the Jets game. Our "notso Special Teams" tried to make it closer than it ended up.

I was concerned when the Broncos signed Plummer, but it turned out ok until recently. Now, this Defensive line thing has me concerned as I pull out of denial. Those guys were all Browns first rounders IIRC, apparantly not all busts dang it.
