The only Cure CD I ever owned was "Mixed Up". It was a collection of extended versions and remixes of older songs. I played the hell out of that CD. I like the "mixed up" versions more than the originals. (basically the remixes were the originals to me)

For my money, "Disintegration" was one of the best albums of the 80's.

One of my top 10 of all time.

Where did you hear that? I have never heard anyone say she was a lesbian before. It could be true, just I've never heard it. When I did a google search, I found a number of references to a Professor Ann Wilson (not the one from Heart) who is something of a noted gay & lesbian activist in academia, but the only reference tying the singer Ann Wilson to lesbians was in an episode of the L Word where some of the girls went to see her in concert and found the music to be spiritually "healing."

By the way, I stand corrected about Nancy being married to their ex-bassist. It was one of their ex-guitarists with whom she was romantically linked, though they never married (she eventually married Cameron Crowe). Nancy was dating guitarist Roger Fisher in the late 70s, while Ann was dating his brother, guitarist/manager Mike Fisher.

I don't usually do the pop genre, but I like Kelly Clarkson. Shhhh....

Well, if Mike Fisher has a vagina, that would make Ann a lesbian. ;)

This thread took a different direction than I expected. I thought it was going to be about music you like that is popular with gay men. I was expecting to see some of you admitting to liking Gloria Estefan and Whitney Houston music.

I'm a fan of Depeche Mode, George Michael, and The Pet Shop Boys. The latter have an especially large following in the gay community. Good enough??

it was probably a rumor. for some reason i took it as fact. i dont know her personally so all i can go on is hearsay. many have had statements reported about their sexuality, most not believed. man, i really felt strongly about this one, next thing you are gonna say is that there is no santa claus. ok, the jury is still out on this "ann is hetero" thing, but she is fat!!!
