I hate this country more and more every day. We are going to go from a country so strong that people were scared to say anything about us, to a country that people laugh at because we are a bunch of pussies who can't take it.

Spoken like an opinionated jackass with no kids.

A 12 yr-old wouldn't know how to do so....It was Baldwin's ex-wife that sent it to the media.

First off, we should remember that this remark, said in anger, to this child is not an isolated incident. This just happened to be one where a recording was made. Father's don't just get mad one day and start verbally attacking their child.

Personally, I think for a father to call his 12 year old daughter a pig (chances are this has happened more than once) can cause severe damage to her self esteem at a time when she is the most vulnerable.

Think about it, her mother is a beautiful and glamorous sex symbol and movie star. What child wants to follow in THOSE shoes? What is the ratio of kids of stars growing up completely fugged up? Higher than average?

She is also growing up at a time when pressure to be thin is extraordinary on girls and we often see eating disorders beginning to develop around the time of puberty or shortly thereafter. Thus, her father calling her a pig is huge. (NPI) Chances are she's seen her father call her mother that and worse and as such will have internalized some of those remarks as well. Chances are Mr. Baldwin's rage is being diverted to an innocent victim instead of the real target, his Ex-wife.

Like her mother, she may end up choosing guys who are abusive to her simply because that is what she knows. In her eyes, her mother is near perfect (beautiful and famous) and couldn't find a 'nice guy.' Unless she gets help she might end up in the same trap.

Begun, the C*nt Wars have.

I don't think you'd want this to get out if you have a TV series on a major network and the network is presently deciding whether your series was cancelled or renewed.

I'm looking forward to it. When I'm 75 years old I'm going to go on a f**king crime spree and rob all these f**kers at cane point. Even the cops will be too busy wearing women's jeans and brushing out their hair to stop me.

Dude obviously has some anger management issues. He can forget about custody. Hell, his visitations will probably be supervised. Dumbass.

I agree with Denise on this one guys. This is just the tip of the iceberg and no little girl deserves to be verbally beat down like that. He's an adult and she is a child and the abusive tone and language he used is extremely hurtful. Maybe she is a brat who doesn't return his calls but leaving that diatribe of abuse in a message is just pathetic.

I could care less what Alec Baldwin thinks and I don't like the idea of the media beating this to death (but they will) but this is a terrible family dynamic they've got going on and if these two parents don't get it together it's going to hurt their kid just like it hurts all kids who are verbally abused by those close to them.
