WRONG!
The main reason Marty was fired from Cleveland for refusing to hire an offensive coordinator. Lindy Infante left for Green Bay and Marty took over the offensive play calling duties. He refused to give them up and was fired by Modell. There were personnel issues involved as well but they weren't as pressing as his refusal to hire an O.C.

That's exactly what I stated. Use your reading glasses next time.

Marty and the Redskins fought over personnel. Vinny Cerrato came over from the Niner's and he's been there ever since. He's Snyder's right hand man and the GM was fired. Marty wanted in on personnel decisions and was negated. FIRED.
Again, isn't this what I stated????? HELLO?

HELL FREAKIN' LOW!!!
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I STATED.
Regardless, from what I've been told, the Spanos family is happy to be rid of the Schottenheimers. Even if the Chargers lose in the first round again, they're rid of Marty, his family and their meddling. The Chargers will make the playoffs again and at least there's harmony in the front office.

Again, pure speculation.
Marty hasn't ever proved anything from a personnel standpoint. His draft partnership with Carl Peterson never yielded an NFL starting QB, RB, WR, DT or LB. How can a potential GM not get lucky with all of those first day drafts? Especially, if it's as you say "closely related"?
