My dad and I just dumped our season tickets that we've had the last 10+ years.

I respect the fans that feel the need to keep their tickets because of the time they have put into getting where they are, but I do love seeing the fans that invested as much time and are dropping tickets as well. Nothing against the fans that stay, but the ones that leave are making a necessary statement to the organization. Even if it isn't really listening.

And why does the NFL still do blackouts.. Seems to me they make more money off of televising the games now as opposed to people going..

Bob Gretz will be calling you shortly.

that would be great! I would go "the Bad Guy" on him, telling him to shut his man pleaser and that his life is worthless and he must be pathetic to live with.... So on, So on...

Wellll since there will be blackouts this year you won't be seeing every game from the barco lounger.

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-26-2008 10:45 PM

Rather than taking a 2,000 cock up the ass, I sold my seats on eBay for 1875 late last week.

The seat licenses are worth keeping, but I"m not going to the games to support these one who sucks the peniss.

Blackouts are only good up to 75 miles.

Semantics.

I'm pretty sure Topeka gets blacked out if KC gets blacked out, based on the fact that Topeka got the Friday night Miami game a couple years back.

15 years of season tickets were enough for me.

Chief Wiggum 02-26-2008 11:19 PM

I've been interested in getting season tickets for a couple of years now and have been in touch with the ticketing office on-and-off over that time (Even though I live in CA). Needless to say, a few of their AEs have my contact information now and call me about once a week. I told them that I refused to invest in the tickets until Carl was gone because I am convinced he is will produce nothing more than a c*ck tease of a team while he is there.

I've had a couple of the AEs tell me that they have had an overwhelming response similar to mine and they then they go on to focus on what Herm is doing for the team (For me, the jury is still out on Herm) and how we have 10 draft picks (Really?) and that the new stadium is going to be just super!

On the one hand, I'm encouraged because I think the club is getting the message. On the other hand, it pisses me off to think that the Chiefs are letting so many of their die-hard fans go while giving CP a golden parachute...

Eight years. I'll be giving mine up, officially I guess, on March 5....the "late" deadline for the "first payment. I'll still attend a couple of games....maybe; but the financial and emotional investment, was not a postive cost-benefit analysis in my mind...considering where ticket prices have gone, and are headed.

Say "hello" to the wine-and-cheese and corporate weekly "winners" crowd....as opposed the the REAL "real fans," thank you Bob Dumbass Gretz. GFY, and your CP cock-smoking hobby.
