First day I give an A. Second day so far, an F-. No DE, OT, WR, CB taken in rd3? That's just beyond stupid.

wtf were you on when you posted this mr C+??
Dorsey easily gets you an A! |
Day 1 gets an A from me with little hesitation.
I'm a bit surprised by Day 2 to this point, but still fairly pleased. I absolutely love our last pick. Will Franklin is the type of receiver who can really complement Dwayne Bowe. Great size/speed combination. We have time yet to find a Guard, Defensive End, Fullback and Kicker. |

Will Franklin is not a #2 wr. No way.

LOL
Great thread. I appreciate the feedback, especially the tags. "Democrats always wrong" is total win. I put this thread in this forum so I couldn't become an attention whore. As for all the people disagreeing with me, I dearly hope you're right. Goes to show we're all pretty much blind midgets when it comes to how this Draft is going to shake up. |

I will show up to defend my opinion. Ask anyone here, I don't plant and run -- most people say I stick around too long to make a point. I was just out and about last night at a Draft party and Royals game. So if there's any impression that I'm scared of dissent, forget it. If anything, this is going to make the lead up to the 2009 NFL Draft very fun, as I'll be reminded about 2,000 times how wrong I've been this year. |
Not to pile on, but day one was an "A". THREE STARTERS, that could become elite at their position is huge. All three have that upside.

I would have waited to #17 and taken Otah. As far as our #35, I really like Flowers on the field, but we just traded a guy away because of drug abuse, and here we are drafting a guy who poses to be a drug dealer on Facebook, during Draft season. We can find good Cover 2 corners later in the Draft, a 2nd was unnecessary. Especially when Groves and Hardy were still on the board. JMO. |
A C+? WTF is wrong with some of you people? This is just reeruned.

We could have gotten guys that would start on Day One at WR, OT, and DE. Instead we opt for a CB and an interior lineman that most believe will excel at OT, but nobody's sure. If all we get out of that pick is a great interior lineman, we could have got that much later. |

But you are vindicated. This is something I'm 100% sure I'll be reminded of in a year. ;) |
