Thanks for being awesome; I wish there were more of you out there. I mean, the Cards organization is stepped with tradition and history. There's no reason for some Cards fans to take a defensively pompous posture with regards to their team, but they do.

My problem with the Royals lies exclusively with Herk Robinson's infamous "we have American League fans" garbage when the Royals had a chance to move to the NL and be relevant again. The Cards would've come to KC a few times a year, the Royals could've competed in the NL where the lack of the DH keeps costs a little lower and everyone would be happy.

Instead Herk Robinson uttered quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard, David Glass (or whichever idiot in a suit was running the team at the time) clearly bought said nonsense and now the Royals are still in the AL Central getting their heads kicked in and are still as irrelevant as ever.

But I'm sure those 'American League' fans don't mind.

#1 - if the Cardinals were so sold on him and knew what Pujols was, why did they themselves pass over them 12 times? He's well on his way to becoming injury-prone.

#2 - I am an "American League" fan and would, all else equal, prefer the Royals to remain in the American League. However, not all else is equal, in that 1, I live in St. Louis, so would welcome a switch so as to see them 3 series per yer down here, and 2, the National League is a much inferior product at this time, that the Royals quite well could be competing in at this time, and in the last several years.

I wish that we could change the royals icon it now has a KC on it not a R

From a geography perspective

NLC - KC,STL,ChiC,Hou,Cincy,Pitt all (except ChiC,Pitt) are south of I-70

ALC - Minn,Mill,CHW,Det.Clev all are north of I-80

wish KC was in NLC seemed stupid for them not to get in our division, but their Mgmt choice :rolleyes: we would really see if they could compete yearly there.

BTW, the Cubs have six games in a row against 40+ win teams starting tonight. Since they haven't played a single game against a team with a winning record in OVER A MONTH, I just thought you might want to brace yourself, or perhaps clear out enough room to hide under your bed.
