He's Marty and Herm, he just had 20 years of loyal ownership to get over the hump.

Also, what about Gregg Williams?

RedThat 10-27-2008 04:54 PM

Anybody of this list:

Cowher
Schottenheimer
Holmgren

Heck I'd even take Dennis Green? Yes "THE BEARS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!
NOW IF YOU WANNA CROWN THERE A**ES, CROWN EM! BUT THE BEARS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!"

*All these coaches have one thing in common, they know how to win. The Chiefs need to hire a winner. I say focus on the most important thing winning. Don't get too carried away on some of the mistakes they made in the past. Every coach makes mistakes even the best of the them.

Not true. Cowher mellowed over the years and actually understood the importance of offense, IMHO, we'd be very lucky to get him back in KC.

I'd be all for Cowher as head coach, because much like Parcells, you just know that guy is going to be respected in the locker room, is going to build a team that plays tough as nails, and is going to win. But I would be shocked to see it happen..

IMO, there's not a snowball's chance in hell that this will happen....I'm just repeating what I've heard.

Hell, according to CP, I'm not a REAL fan, so I guess I wouldn't have any opinion on what a REAL GM and HC would be. ;)

like someone after you already said: this is a VERY interesting person, would fit for a guy like carl also. his daddy loved defense AND he's an offensive guy. he saw what defense could do with no Offense so he would know firsthand how important it is to try and be dominant on both sides...
