Hey C-Mac - any issue with my adding your site to the drop-down menu up top?
Oh, and any progress on a new header? Colquitt's a bit depressing now that the future is looking brighter! :D |
Whats up with Clark's bottom lip?

Some of you are just way too obsessed with what happens with this team FOR NEXT YEAR. If Herm is here, it tells me that Pioli couldn't get the other targets he wanted, and ended up saving the team 4 million instead of locking in a lesser candidate. If you are ready to run him out of here because he keeps Herm for one year then I don't know what to tell you. |

But for me, this isn't about next year's wins and losses at all. Keeping Herm might hamper our philosophy in the draft and will definitely curtail the development of players. For example, I can't imagine drafting a QB at #3 overall with Herm still at the helm. Perhaps I'm wrong.. |

I'm just saying my opinion of Pioli won't be affected negatively at all if Herm is the coach next year. I hate Herm just as much as anyone, and want him gone, but it doesn't make much sense either to can Herm to hire someone who was like his 5th or 6th choice to take over this team. I think what is taking so long is that he's trying to convince Ferentz. |

Yeah, it would be ridiculous for Pioli to hire someone whom he doesn't believe in, yet it would be equally ridiculous to hold on to someone who is limiting (or at the very least not contributing to) the development of young players. See our defensive line. My biggest concern would be at the QB position. With such an important draft position, would Herm jeopardize/influence this coming decision? |
Just judging by history this stuff takes time. Peterson was hired on Dec. 19 and didnt can Ganz until Jan. 5. I know its not the best example but it is one.
