(And I didn't even play the video.)

I actually went to see the movie with John Ritter when I was but a youngster.

Nope, sorry... this was one of those really gay hangliders not a cool black one that Colt uses.

and the angle was from above (I think) and there were cliffs in the background... and no sheep...

I think...

I was almost sure it was Magnum PI, but no dice. I know what you're talking about. It was a multi-colored, rainbowish hang glider going over a large cliff from a top view.

This going to drive me nuts.

You are the THIRD person to independently verify that....

It's not Miami Vice, and it's not Fantasy Island either.

I vaguely recall the scenario you're presenting... but can't recall the show. balls.

Yup, The Fall Guy. Little known fact: Howie used to work on a farm just down the road from my childhood home in Kansas (still my parents' home). Evidently, he was originally from Cedar Rapids.

The truck was the real star of the show, though.

I was thinking Greatest American Hero, but that is wrong. Mork was quite rainbow-y.

Simon and Simon had a handgliding sequence in the first season. rick was tied to a handglider and unconscious.

Interesting little known fact there, Mr. Pitt Gorilla.

Here's an even littler known fact: Ants sometimes get a virus in their brains that cause them to leave their colony and climb up all by themselves to the very, very top of a blade of grass for no reason at all except that their brains have a virus in them. So, instead of being able to hide from predators in the dirt where they're safe except from anteaters, they get eaten by birds and other ant-eating wildlife and stuff while they're up on the top of the blade of grass. All because they got a virus in their brain, dude.

No, the Fall Guy has one blip of Colt landing in a field of sheep on a black hanglider... that definitely is not it.

Multicolored hanglider with cliffside in background...

Deberg_1990 01-30-2009 11:22 PM
