The Jets seem more likely to trade for , say, Derek Anderson. Mangini knows the Jets roster well, he may want to trade for someone. Rex Ryan has been around Derek Anderson when he was with Baltimore. Seems like it could work.

Despite the fact that they already have 2 young QBs in Clemens and Ainge.

Why would those guys prevent you from trading for a proven QB. They had Clemens when they traded for Favre.

I dont see it. They want to win now, they spent way too much money in free agency the last couple years to do that. I bet they get Garcia or someone in FA

Also, Andersons struggles had a LOT to do with his receivers dropping everything he threw.
